Miley Cyrus was performing her song ‘Party in the USA’ at Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party in Miami, Florida when her small glittery top came loose.
The 29-year-old singer singing when her top was just hanging on by a thread and she had to grip it to avoid an FCC disaster.
Miley strolled backstage while the band continued to perform, then reappeared with a red jacket.
Cyrus openly acknowledged the song’s lyrics, stating, “Everybody’s certainly staring at me now,” before adding, “I’m still in the most clothing that I’ve ever worn on stage.
The star’s faultless solution to what could have been a very embarrassing situation was highly appreciated on social media with many calling it a good and progressive attitude.
Later in the programme, Miley’s co-host, Pete Davidson, decided to offer compassion by lowering his top, displaying a nipple to the delight of the hyped audience.

But daring Miley Cyrus was back to her old ways as she posed completely naked on the cover of acclaimed photographer David LaChapelle's forthcoming book Lost + Found.
Leaving nothing to the imagination, the singer, 24, appeared as a nude butterfly, with only a flesh-toned bodysuit with strategically placed crystals protecting her modesty.

The book features never-before-seen photos from David's nearly 30-year career in the industry.
Michael Jackson, Hilary Clinton, Rihanna and Lady Gaga will also be featured in the art book, the photographers first in a decade.

In her latest Diary of a Dirty Hippie column for V magazine , Cyrus passed the mic to infamous drag queen Laganja Estranja to give readers an insight into her eye-popping VMAs performance.
Cyrus also appears in a fold-out poster in the publication (pictured above), featuring all the flamboyant drag queens who joined the star on stage in order to promote unity within the community
The Los Angeles LGBT Center honoured the star for her contribution to the LGBT community at its 46th Annual Vanguard Awards Gala over the weekend.
She spoke passionately about her work with LGBT homeless youths, declaring: "There are more than 1.6 million runaway or homeless young people in the US each year with 40% of homeless youth identifying as LGBTQ.
"And in just Hollywood where we are all sitting royally with all of our food in front of us and all of these fancy clothes...
"There are more than 6,100 homeless people under the age of 24 on the streets on any given day and more than one in four of these people have experienced hate crimes due to their race, sexual orientation or their gender identity."
