Born on March 8, 1987 as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, she is an Uzbekistan-born American actress and comedian. She was two-and-a-half years old when her parents moved to United States as immigrant refugees and settled down in West Hollywood.
She started her acting exploits by appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five, partly due to the financial problems faced by her family.
