Donna shares her trusted trick of using a table terrace to instantly add height and dimension to her summer soiree table. She sets the scene with a neutral colour palate and soft textures with fresh garden herbs to create a delicate scent, adding to the wonderful, relaxed ambience
Donna recommends welcoming your guests with a signature drink upon arrival. Her choice – a zesty and refreshing Lemongrass and lime cooler. Paired with Fig and Walnut Ficelle that can easily be prepared ahead of time thanks to the automatic proofing function which runs at a delicate 40°C in her Miele oven.
Donna looks to the ease and convenience of her Miele combi steam oven to prepare the freekeh. Simply setting the temperature and cooking duration allows for hands free cooking so she can concentrate on other elements. The ancient grain is infused with fragrant lemon peel, thyme and fresh garlic, for a delicious twist.
Create meaningful moments with your guests with Donna’s vibrant salmon, the perfect centrepiece for your summer occasion. The salmon is buttery soft with a textural crunch made possible thanks to the combi grill functionality. The sticky, savoury sauce and fragrant crunchy toppings will have you coming back for seconds!
Donna places the finishing touch on her soiree with this luscious dessert, creating cloud-like meringue frosting with her controlled induction cooktop.
