As many have noted, there are big problems with displaying images on the site.

Thanks for that information ServileJerome, so it is acting as a limiter basically. I tend to use my handcranks with attenuation in them, gradually reducing it until such time as a final full power shot is required! But it gets used sparingly, the various power boxes are easier to control, but don't have the vintage look to them. A little of what excites the mind is probably the key, and not to overdo it. The electrodes are the important bit, what form they take and what they are connected to. Wires around balls or cock with a smaller surface area are very painful, but the rubber pads with the larger contact area far less so, and therefore more barrable, and usually better for a lot of this. Need to find back the electrodes placement that was most efficient (most painful), then work again with the modulator for some time. And maybe eventually, for comparison, for the ending of the filmed scene, experiment then also without the modulator - so the audience will directly see and hear the difference... Maybe even also alternate with some cattle-prod shocks in the same session, so people will also hear the difference in my screaming reactions...
@cbtlouis and @midnightboyuk : In all honesty now: The modulatot offers a way to limit the voltage, and hence reduce a bit the risk of damage from high voltage AC current - so it makes the field telephones less dangerous... but also significantly reduces the pain (at the lowest level it is much too soft if you turn the crank 'normally'). You can try with and without it (without is harder, but also more risky). Or the Dom in this first experiment found a way to force more voltage through the modulator with his very sudden turns of the crank, creating short spikes of much more extreme pain than what the modulator usually allows. But to be honest, I don't necesarily find these field telephones better than a well-made SM-oriented estim device. The pain is different, and you can feel it is more damag
