Unfrozen is looking for a Middle Game Designer for an unannounced PC project.


Role:

This is a creative position - we will be expecting initiative and interesting ideas from you, readiness to offer your own view. At the same time you will need to be diligent: documenting these ideas, writing design documents and technical specifications will also be part of your job.


Tasks: 

  • Testing, analysing and polishing the game experience (balance, GUI, etc);
  • Developing new game content;
  • Writing technical documentation and setting tasks. Supervising the implementation of features at all stages of readiness.


Requirements: 

  • Ability to communicate your thoughts to team members in a structured way; 
  • Love for turn-based 4x strategy games and extensive gaming experience in games of similar genre; 
  • Availability of a finished project in the portfolio (not hyper casual); 
  • Basic knowledge of Unity, Git; 
  • Excellent self-organisation skills and a high degree of autonomy.


Would be a plus: 

  • Experience working on non-mobile projects; 
  • Experience working on game statistics using devtodev; 
  • Experience working on game AI; 
  • GUI development experience, experience in any interface prototyping environment, Figma is a priority; 
  • Level design experience in any popular game engine or game level editors; 
  • Availability of own prototypes and developments in portfolio.

  • Candidates are considered based on the results of a small test assignment.
