Middle DevOps Engineer

Remote | full time

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, RDS, ECS, CodeDeploy, S3);

- At least 2 years experience in typescript development;

- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for microservices;

- Proven experience in deploying resources in cloudformation or CDK;

- Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements;

- Strong bias for action and ownership;

- Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking;

- Self-starter excited to relentlessly solve many technical challenges;

- Clear written and verbal communication.

Tasks:

- Implement systems that are secured, highly available, scalable, and fault tolerance on the AWS platform;

- Build and maintain operational tools for CI/CD, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems;

- Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements;

- Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code;

- Automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation on AWS;

- Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas.
