Mid QA engineer

Job Description

QA Engineer is responsible for supporting the delivery of high quality software by designing test cases and automated scenarios to validate customer business features. In addition to performing various types of testing activities such as functional, performance and regression, QA Engineer provides regular activity status updates to team and reports product defects and risks in a defect management system.

Job responsibilities

• Review and analyze requirements and specifications of projects
• Write clear test cases and well-structured bug reports
• Perform functional and non-functional testing
• Automate test cases
• Work closely with technical and non-technical people across various product development teams to advance automated testing coverage

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience as a QA Engineer
• 1+ years of work experience as a QA Automation Engineer
• Strong knowledge of Java
• Experience in API Test Automation is a must
• Experience in Mobile Application testing is a must
• Hands on experience in Appium, Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured
• Git, CI/CD, Jenkins/Azure DevOps knowledge
• Strong knowledge of Client/Server communication
• Experience in MS SQL will be considered a plus
• Time management skills
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to interact comfortably and confidently with the development team
• Excellent communication skills
