Minecraft's account transfer to Microsoft is in progress, and some players aren't happy with. Mojang claims that the change will increase security and offer more safety features. However, some accounts are locked out. This is a required move.

Initially revealed last month, the migration is primarily security-focused. For example, you can utilize two-factor authentication when you've switched. As of March 10, though you'll need to move your account to continue playing Minecraft which has led to some anger with some players.

Docm77, one of the Minecraft creator, has called the account migration the "biggest error in the history of Minecraft" via Twitter. The reason for this is "If you have more than one account, you are forced to create a Microsoft account for each". It is believed that this issue results in having your Microsoft account shut down because of some terms of service stipulations. This isn't something every Minecraft player has to deal with however it could be an issue for creators of content or people who simply like to play the game. They may need to create additional Microsoft accounts. There are many reports on social media that players are having trouble making the jump.
