Whacky and wonderful new porn trends - part 2
The biggest risque occurrences & sex scandals in recent times
Whacky and wonderful new porn trends - part 2
For those of you who aren’t familiar with this returning starlet – and how are you not at this point (?) – she started doing studio porn back in 2014 and made quite a splash in a couple of seasons.
After exploding onto the erotic entertainment scene, Mia Khalifa made waves in the best and worst way possible. To be fair, some of the backlash she received was definitely not her fault, though she does have a habit of putting her foot into her mouth.
And after seemingly disappearing off the face of the earth , she’s back to posting explicit content. The full story this woman has is crazy wonderful, weird, and whacky twists and turns. So, buckle up and get ready for one helluva a ride.
For sure, Mia definitely made a splash in the world of smut based on her good looks, but she managed to make a name for herself through kink and controversy. While pretty much all of her movies ended with Khalifa being naked from the waist down. But she would be filmed giving head or getting fucked while wearing a hijab in some scenes.
Apparently, porn consumers all over the place thought it was hot as hell, and Mia’s star rose into the sexual stratosphere. To give you an idea of how popular she became, within months, searches on PornHub for sultry sultaness pentupled. Her years’ old work is one of the top trending and ranking performers on popular tube sites even to this day.
Needless to say, Mia’s sacrilegious sex shows, her praise of adult entertainment, and her condemnation of her home country, Lebanon, brought on a crazy amount of criticism . Her religiously conservative Muslim parents threatened to disown her, religious fundies freaked out, and even some Western journos went after her.
Worse, after she ranked as the number one model on PornHub, Mia got death threats from the Islamic State – which, shockingly, she initially shook off with humor and sarcasm. I gotta say that I felt sorry for and was impressed with that kind of reaction at the time.
Then things started to go from whacky to just plain weird.
If you look up the release dates of some of her porn, you would think that Mia has been performing from 2014 and into this year. But it turns out that all of her work was shot in a three-month period in 2014 and, for whatever reason, wasn’t released soon after being filmed.
This is why I think it’s bullshit that she later complained about only making twelve thousand dollars upfront, plus one hundred and seventy-eight thousand bucks in residuals, according to BangBros.
Anyway, she signed a long-term contract with BangBros in early 2015, but then suddenly officially pulled out of porn weeks later. Following that, her favorable opinion of the industry took quite an abrupt turn, too.
Again, I do want to say that I do feel bad for all of the bullshit that Khalifa had to deal with, especially from goddamn terrorists.
With that clarification put out there, I still have to mention that she tried to grab even more attention by complaining on the news shows about how little money she made, and sites like PornHub wouldn’t pull her content.
Further, Mia often talked about feeling embarrassed about being in adult entertainment. She even had the audacity to whine about studio porn sites were still making money on copyrighted movies she starred in even though she admits to signing contracts with them.
To be fair to her, Mia didn’t pull a Shelly Lubben and blame her choice to do smut on predatory pornographers. But it was hardly a good look for her to drag the entire adult industry when she failed to plan out her career, let alone imagine that people she knew wouldn’t find out she was an adult performer in the age of the internet.
And now she’s back to posting to the net and making money off her mature media…again.
For years after that, Mrs. Khalifa found herself a new husband and switched up career prospects several times. Jobs she worked include being a lawyer-in-training, bookkeeper, social media personality, and professional gamer.
It looks like she split up with her second hubby in June of this year and, a few months later, announced that she had joined up to OnlyFans . According to her page, she only uploads content that is “safe for work content, kinda” and mostly consists of sexy but clothed poses. Allegedly, she isn’t going to post any nudes, let alone hardcore sex, but we’ll see how long that lasts.
With her confusing positions on creating carnal content, some denizens of the interwebs have (understandably) criticized her decision to get back into sex work again. After all, she campaigned for years to get her porn pulled off of the net.
In response to this new wave of criticism, Mia has said…
“I am finally growing into my self-confidence in who I am and the decisions I make for me, and this is my way of being myself outside the perimeters of conventional social media…I want to take my power back and just post what I want and what makes me feel good, and I’m just so thankful that y’all are along for this wild ride.”
As you would expect, some people are okay with it, and many people aren’t buying it. When it comes to the first group, they seem to have moved on and are supporting Mia.
In fact, despite having a mere fifty-two pictures and four videos at the explicit level of an Instagram post, she’s gotten tens of thousands of likes. Moreover, her page has thousands of paying supporters, and some of her defenders are comparing Mia to other persecuted porn performers.
Then there are the detractors who bring up how “haunted” Khalifa has felt with all of the nudie pics and vids of her floating around. Some of them, I suspect might just be mad that she isn’t putting out hardcore movies. Still, you can’t help but think that her behavior straddles the border between confusing and hypocritical.
When it comes to summing up my personal standpoint on all of this, I can just recite what they commonly say on Reddit *le sigh*, I guess. I mean, she is a pretty gal, and I’ve enjoyed her work . In fact, many of her movies are some of my favorites when it comes to raunchy videos starring Middle Eastern gals.
Still, I think it’s ridiculous that she decided to become an industry turncoat when it seems to have gotten her media attention. It annoys the hell out of me that she painted this depressing picture of being a porn performer, even though she freely admits that she choose to do it. And I think it’s stupid that she decided to get into smut (supposedly) as part of a rebellious phase.
I’m sure some who follow her on Twitter are about to email me about how she sold her glasses for six figures and seems to have donated the money to the Lebanese Red Cross. And yeah, that certainly does cast her in a much better light, but Khalifa is so erratic I can’t tell how sincere she is really.
IDK look up her OnlyFans page if you want, but I ain’t going to link directly to it. Just be aware that she charges $11.99 a month for access (!), which is more than many OnlyFan users do for explicit erotica.
If you want to see women of Arabic and Near Eastern heritage who are in porn and actually like it, I’ve done several reviews and a blog post on them already. I’m sure that you’ll like what you see, especially if you’re into fetishizing the hijab and, by extension, mocking religious fundamentalism.
If you’ve got a fascination with other performers and producers who have left the biz or are still pumping out porn, I’ve got an upload all about that, too. It’s a little dated in light of certain recent events – *cough, cough* like Ron Jeremy’s arrest – but most of the info is pretty interesting.
If you liked any of those posts or this one, send it to your friends, and I hope they enjoy it as much as I had fun making them.
Don’t settle for mediocre porn, beat off to the very best of what gets you the hardest! To date, I’ve ranked, reviewed, and fap-tested over 3284+ adult websites in every NSFW category you can imagine. From free porn tubes to premium lesbian extravaganzas, amateur MILFs to teen cherry-poppings, webcam sluts to anal orgies. Even if Mia Khalifa decided to use OnlyFans for explicit content, it is still her body and her choice.

On September 18, Mia Khalifa announced that she was joining the subscription-based social platform, OnlyFans.
In an Instagram post with the OnlyFans platform open on her laptop, Khalifa wrote “I have a full time job… as an accountant”, which has become a common way for sex workers — and mainly OnlyFans creators — to identify themselves on TikTok .
Often only associated with sex work, OnlyFans is actually just a platform where creators can offer pay-to-access content to fans of their work — ranging between things like custom classes on how to use Photoshop to one-on-one personal conversations behind a paywall.
However, despite the phrase and the app being linked to sex work, Mia Khalifa has shared that she isn’t re-entering the porn industry through OnlyFans. Instead, Khalifa plans to share “safe for work content, kinda ” with the $11.99 USD monthly subscription price, but explicitly stated that she would not be posting any nude content.
A post shared by Mia K. (@miakhalifa) on Sep 17, 2020 at 9:24pm PDT
During her first week on the platform, Khalifa wrote a thank you message to those who had already supported her new venture. Explaining that OnlyFans is how she would be herself “outside the perimeters of conventional social media”, Khalifa said she saw the platform as “Instagram without the terms of service”.
“I am finally growing into my self-confidence in who I am and the decisions I make for me,” Khalifa wrote. “Even though I will not be creating nude content… I want to take my power back and just post what I want and what makes me feel good.”
Naturally, when headlines that one of the world’s formerly top-ranked porn stars would be joining OnlyFans started to circulate online without the full context, men started to criticise Mia Khalifa’s choice to seemingly rejoin the porn industry that she had spent the last few months denouncing.
While it is true that Mia Khalifa has been very vocal about her short, but terrible experience in the porn industry, the former sex worker and now-sports commentator was never against the work itself but rather the exploitative nature of the industry.
Only working a three-month period over 2014 and 2015, and producing just 11 videos, Khalifa is still one of the top adult stars in the world. But being pressured into making controversial videos — like wearing a hijab throughout one adult film — has had a negative impact on Khalifa’s mental health. Beyond terrorist group, ISIS, threatening her at the time, Mia Khalifa claims that she is still bullied for these videos to this day and had only ever earned a measly $12,000 USD for her troubles.
But instead of letting attention around these videos die off on their own, Mia Khalifa alleges that a number of porn sites continue to advertise and promote her six-year-old videos to make people think she is still active in the industry. As a result, the ‘ Justice For Mia Khalifa ‘ petition was started as a way to request that these adult sites return Khalifa’s domain names and remove her videos the internet.
Further explaining her stance on the industry through an Instagram story in June, Khalifa implored women who want to do porn to simply do so on their own terms.
“Those 11 videos will haunt me until I die, and I don’t want another girl to go through that — because no one should. Long story short: don’t do porn. And if you do, don’t do it with a company. Do it for yourself, on your own terms,” Khalifa said.
“And if you consume porn, make sure it’s ethical and not from giant corporations who profit off exploiting women. Like your groceries, shop local and direct from the creators.”
Despite Mia Khalifa’s stance on sex work being very clear, men seem to have immediately run with the idea that because Khalifa criticised the porn industry, her decision to join OnlyFans was hypocritical.
Despite stating that she’s not even producing porn on OnlyFans and Mia Khalifa constantly sharing her negative experiences within the porn industry, men continue to claim that the industry “ didn’t force her to do shit ” and begun to call Khalifa’s move over to OnlyFans “ironic” and “stupid”.

Clearly lacking the ability to comprehend topics beyond a 10 word headline, these men failed to understand that Mia Khalifa’s plight to have her porn films scrubbed from the internet was directly about the manipulation she faced as a young woman in the adult industry, not the work itself.
Mia Khalifa is not against sex work, she is against the toxic environments created within the porn industry that prey on young, impressionable women. OnlyFans is such a celebrated platform because it gives women, who happen to be interested in sex work, full control over what they do and how much they are paid for their work.
And again, it’s all irrelevant because Mia Khalifa has stated that she isn’t even producing porn through her OnlyFans anyway. So this judgement by men who feel “cheated” by Khalifa creating a subscription service while trying to get justice for the abuse she faced in the adult industry doesn’t even make any sense.
The industry abused her and cohersed her into doing things she didn’t want to do. Only fans gives her 100% control over what she does, who with, her content. There’s a big difference, only the ignorant dont see it https://t.co/AvXciPZl5S
— Aaron (@aaronmg__) September 23, 2020
Oh, the way men love to shame women for joining an industry they consume on a daily basis… Besides, with OnlyFans she doesn’t even have to do anything explicit if she doesn’t want to. She can simply sell sexy, fully clothed pic if she wants. People love playing dumb.
— n aguento mais (@layunii4) September 25, 2020
However, even if Mia Khalifa had decided to join OnlyFans with the sole purpose of producing porn, that is her choice to do so. Women having full autonomy over their own bodies, and being the ones who decide what they do with it, is no one else’s business. And it is especially not the business of horny men who just want free porn.

Sports commentator Mia Khalifa has taken to social media to speak about her experience in the porn industry, saying she regrets her brief stint as one of Pornhub’s most popular performers.
“Those 11 videos will haunt me until I die, and I don’t want another girl to go through that — because NO ONE should,” Khalifa responded to an Instagram user who tagged the former performer in a post about Khalifa’s past porn career. In the original post, which, according to Hollywood Life , was shared on Khalifa’s Instagram story, the Instagram user warned aspiring porn performers against entering the industry, writing, “Women are haunted by the decisions they made years ago. But, they weren’t their decisions… Don’t support another vul
