Learn how to install a MyFreeCams Profile design provided by css-mfc-profile services Almost all digital products available for download comes with a few tips on how to edit or install our MyFreeCams profile templates . If the install text file is missing, here we offer a few basic steps on how to do it. You have to keep in mind one simple thing, not all profiles are the same and the install process may or may not apply to all of our downloads. 1. Our service doesn't host images. - every download comes with provided images, you have to host the images and replace them in both css and html codes (if applicable) 2. Open css file using Notepad or Notepad++, replace direct image url paths. - so many models/users use Photobucket but they copy the wrong link. After uploading a image on Photobucket, click in it. In the right side is a box containing a bunch of links, use "Direct link" tab, do not copy the url of the page you are on...that's a wrong url. 3. After editing the css file save it and go to your MFC account, click on Customize. A new window will appear, here, you will find a link named "edit css directly" or "customize css directly" ... You should save (back-up) your current css code on your pc/laptop before starting to play with codes, just in case. If you are installing a full editable custom myfreecams profile , the css code you downloaded from us will replace your old css code . So, after editing your css file provided by us, copy all code and paste it on this page (edit css directly). If you are installing just a widget, same steps must be taken, back-up your old code, replace images in css file provided by us but... here comes the important part: DO NOT REPLACE ALL CSS CODE! just add our code at the very end of your current css code. 4. HTML install. - same steps, host your images, add your custom texts, links or any other content you desire and paste the html code on Edit Profile , one of available sections. Some of our templates have widgets implemented, we added html codes inside txt files and named them with corespondent section names. For example we added a video widget code (part of the css code widget is implemented in main css file) and to work ok on your profile you need to add the related html code too. The html video widget code can be found on the file named "Favorite Books" for example....even if you use a video widget, if the name of the file reads "Fav books" that's the section where this widget must be placed. 5. Save That's it... 4 simple steps, even kids can do it

Hello,

I saw that we could put a banner and a wallpaper on his profile.

But to be able to put an image, it must be imported on the MFC site. My question is, are we allowed to put images other than figurines?

If yes how should it proceed? Images to be imported under which category?

I ask the question because I saw several people with anime pictures on their profile from their album and mine were deleted. Maybe I made a procedural error somewhere.

Thank you to those who will respond and who will explain things to me. And I hope not to break the MFC rules by asking this question and wanting to do this profile customization.

For this, you go in "Settings" => "My Profile" => "Background" and click on "Pick"

It's required to import the picture before to pick one :)

My pictures was deleted because the link source was missing, a moderator confirmed to me this.

darkroseblast • 3 years ago • #51223719 I don't know if this is applicable to your situation, but the "Various" category is only for images you've made yourself (fan art, original designs, color edits you made yourself, etc.) If you've taken any image made by someone else, like you found it on a blog, website, artist's page, etc. it needs to go under the "Chan" category and you need to link a proper source as well as state that the image is for profile customization. Otherwise the image will be deleted.

Nobody • 3 years ago • #50967723 If your pictures can't be related to any item, put them in the "various" category, and, important, add some description like "for profile customization".
I put the images under "various" with a description as shown and they were deleted again ...
