I really enjoyed this roleplay. For me it was fun to be a potential employer looking for employee. Furthermore, it was daunting to change contracts, but yet we did it. It was fascinating to act with our social science teacher. In my opinion, our group managed to do the task successfully. I had a substantial amount of speaking practice. Thus, I’m more confident about my speaking now. Thank you for this interdisciplinary lesson!

The roleplay was exciting due to the fact that I had a chance to be a translator and improve my language skills. Moreover, this experience demonstrated how the hiring process looks like. In addition, it prepared me for the future interview with a potential employer. I also raised awareness of how to answer on their questions. Building upon this, I should have prepared better for this roleplay, owing to the fact I did not translate very well and it decreased my confidence to an extent. Overall, I liked this roleplay.

I really enjoyed this roleplay, it was a valuable experience to be a potential employer who hires workers. However, we faced some issues with the translation. Therefore, it made our task more challenging. Furthermore, I successfully expressed my ideas in English and helped our translator, so I am proud of myself, but our team could have prepared better.

I found this roleplay to be interesting, as the requirement for every conversation to be routed through a translator proved to be a unique challenge. I also would like to say that I learned the difference between a labour law contract and a civil law contract. However, I did not know what to do as a lawyer, which is why I spoke less than usual. If we do this exercise one more time, I would like to choose a different role with more dialogue.
