Metale Tutorial #3: Create Overview
Metale Protocol
This guide is designed to help everyone understand how to publish any type of content on-chain on Metale platform, including all the details and supporting tutorials for different content NFT collection issuance standards (economic models).
Publish on Metale platform
1. Click on CREATE:

The content publishing console opens.
2. Submit your work:
A. Content type: Text (Books), Video (Short Dramas), Audio (Podcasts), etc.
B. Language management: You can upload the same content in different languages, but all language versions will be tied to the same content NFT collection on the blockchain (single smart contract for all language versions).
C. Upload cover: Upload any cover with the recommended 3:4 size (if you enter the work title, the AIGC (AI Generated Content) creation tool for cover generation also pops-up).
D. Language: Choose the language (tied to language management panel on the left).
E. Work title: Enter the title of your work.
F: AI Support: Use AI tools provided by Metale Protocol in order to create AIGC and enchance your creative experience.

As an example, let’s fully utilize AIGC creation tools to submit the information about your work:
- Enter a title or use AI to generate a new one, then use AI to generate your cover:

Use AI support in order to generate an introduction and keep/adjust it:

Submit application and move to the next step.
3. Upload your work:
This is the main content management section which you will also use anytime in the future in order to add/remove/edit the content inside your NFT collection.
- Text-based (Create Books):
A. Language: Switch between different language versions of your content.
B. Chapter management: Switch between different chapters, edit each chapter separately.
C. Enter the title to each chapter separately.
D. Enter the content to each chapter separately (AI Support is available).

- Video-based (Create Short Dramas):
Same steps, but upload the video content in MP4 format.
- Audio-based (Create Podcasts):
Same steps, but upload the audio content in MP3 format.
Submit application and move the the final step.
4. Upload your work:
This is the main technical section of your content NFT collection. When you publish your work, you choose an NFT issuance standard (economic model) that cannot be changed in the future. It is very important to understand all the advantages and disadvantages of different NFT standards depending on your personal choice and preferences, that is why we have special tutorials, in which each economic model and the whole path from publication to management and monetization of your NFT collection is explained and modeled:
- Bonding Curve (tutorial coming soon):
A. Total Box: Total number (supply) of your NFT collection in this standard.
B. Read and accept the terms of the copyright statement content.

Important note: Total Box (A) can be lowered anytime (burned), but not increased.
- BEP721 (tutorial coming soon):
A. Cover: Choose the cover which will be displayed as the main cover of your content NFT collection (same as you have in “1. Submit your work” section). As of June 10, all BEP721 NFT collections have the 1:1 cover size on the main NFT collection page, so please stick to this standard.
B. Work title: Automatically the same as in “1. Submit your work” section, locked.
C. Symbol: The name of the token that is bound to your NFTs. This has no effect on NFT transactions on Metale (not used on the platform), and only serves as a token representation in wallets and on the blockchain. Since this step is mandatory to create an NFT, it is better that you pick a name that fits your NFT collection. For example, in the case of the NFT collection name “The Dark Dragon”, you could use the “DRAGON” symbol.
D. Total Box: Total number (supply) of your NFT collection in the BEP721 standard.
E. ZIP: Upload a ZIP file with the picture(-s) which will be tied to your content NFT collection and locked forever. If you upload only 1 image and select the quantity equal to 1, it means that each separate NFT of your collection will have the rarity “100%”.
*E. If there is a need to add an additional NFT use-case to build the community around the content, creators can always come up with a rarity structure for their NFT collection:
- For example, you want to have 100 NFTs (Total Box) of your collection and 5 different rarities (from least rare to most unique group): common, uncommon, rare, epic and legendary.
- You upload the 5 different images and then set the number of images (NFTs) for each rarity group. For example, 1 Legendary, 2 Epic, 3 Rare, 4 Uncommon, 5 Common (as it shown on the picture below).
- Then, with a total NFT supply of 100 NFT, your collection will have 1/(1+2+3+4+5) * 100 = 6 NFT with Legendary rarity or 4/(1+2+3+4+5) * 100 = 26 NFT with uncommon rarity, etc. This could then create a different price range for each rarity group of your NFT collection, and the creator could use this opportunity to distribute rewards where the rarest Legendary NFTs are rewarded the most, for example.
F. Type Launchpad or NFT: Here you can choose how you want to release your NFT collection in the BEP721 standard:
- Launchpad: By selecting this option, your NFT collection is authorized on the blockchain, but the NFTs are not yet issued. You can use Metale Launchpad for crowdfunding (fundraising with a public funding round open to all merchants) to raise funds you need to create your content. Successful crowdfunding leads to automatic NFT minting, failures are fully refunded to all investors.
Read more about Metale Launchpad along with the example in Metale Tutorial #6: Launchpad Guide (coming soon).
- NFT: By selecting this option, all NFTs in your collection will be immediately minted to YOUR wallet (Creator's wallet). Then, you can go to the profile section (Collected > NFTs) to list each of the minted NFTs on the Metale NFT Market.
Read more about BEP721 NFT issuance standard along with the example in Metale Tutorial #9: BEP721 Model (coming soon).
G. Read and accept the terms of the copyright statement content.

Important note: B-G can not be changed after the issuance of NFT collection.
- 404 (tutorial coming soon):
A. Cover: Choose the cover which will be displayed as the main cover of your content NFT collection (same as you have in “1. Submit your work” section).
B. Work title: Automatically the same as in “1. Submit your work” section, locked.
C. Symbol: The name of your token (for example, $DRAGON) in the BEP404 standard. This token can be traded on DEX (as a token in BEP20 standard), and each token is equal to 1 NFT.
D. Total Box: Total number (supply) of your NFT collection in the BEP404 standard. It means both the total number of NFT and the total number of token is equal to this quantity.
⚠️ C-D means that: 1 BEP20 token = 1 BEP721 NFT = 1 BEP404 Token/NFT (together). Read more in Metale Tutorial #10: BEP404 Model (coming soon).
E. ZIP: Upload a ZIP file with the picture(-s) which will be tied to your content NFT collection and locked forever. The same rules apply with rarity structure as with 721 above.
*E. However, since in BEP404 your NFT is burned when you sell 1 $DRAGON token or sell 1 NFT, it is expected that the rarity aspect will be diminished in this NFT standard by putting only 1 image (representing 1 NFT type) with 100% rarity.
F. Read and accept the terms of the copyright statement content.

Submit application, sign the content NFT issuance transaction, and start managing and distributing your work.
Read more about the NFT collection page in the next Metale Tutorial #4: Collection Page (coming on June 11).
🌐 Share the link to your NFT collection simply copying if from the browser address bar:

For example: https://www.metale.world/box/0xcf2b20d3E55349A602e2E9C72F73642640C66762
Where 0xcf2b20d3E55349A602e2E9C72F73642640C66762 is the smart contract address of the NFT collection.
Every action with this NFT collection including NFT transactions and revenue sharing can be 24/7 checked on the blockchain by anyone, for example using opBNB scan since this collection is on opBNB chain: https://opbnbscan.com/address/0xcf2b20d3E55349A602e2E9C72F73642640C66762.
🌟 This proves that Metale is a fully decentralized platform, allowing everyone (creators, merchants and consumers) to make sure that all transactions with certain content and revenue sharing are 100% transparent.
