Metale Tutorial #1: Connect Wallet
Metale Protocol
When you first join metale.world, you need to log in to your Metale account.
This tutorial is designed to help everyone understand the different ways to connect their wallet, as well as available wallet types.
Account login
1. Visit Metale Protocol and click on Connect Wallet:
2. In the pop-up window there is a choice to connect to your Metale account using Email (@ParticleNtwrk) or using other Wallets (@WalletConnect, @MetaMask, @Web3WithBinance, @okxweb3, etc.):
Type 1: Log in via Email (Particle Network)
1. Simply enter your Email and click on Connect button:
2. Enter the Verification Code sent to your Email and click on Confirm button:
3. You are connected and now can check/copy your Wallet Address and other sections of your account in the top right corner:
Important notes:
- This account type is powered by Particle Network (MPC-wallet).
- Everyone can manage this wallet type not just on Metale platform, but directly on Particle Network Wallet page (choose Email option too, not Google!).
- Sometimes certain actions on the Metale platform require additional in-wallet confirmation, which can be received only on Particle Network Wallet page. Often, these confirmations can appear only on the phone version or only on PC version of Particle Network Wallet, so try both types of gadgets in advance before contacting support.
How to use Particle Network Wallet
1. Visit Particle Network Wallet and click on Email:
2. Do the same steps with Email and Verification Code:
3. When you first log in to your account directly via Particle Network Wallet, Particle may prompt you to set a Master Password (increase account protection), which you will use when confirming transactions:
Important notes:
- Neither Metale Protocol nor Particle Network has physical access to the Master Password under the new MPC-wallet technology. If you are unable to enter this password when logging in to your account for any reason, you stand a chance of losing access to your account. This password cannot be recovered, even with the help of official projects teams.

4. Enter your wallet, choose opBNB Mainnet and check your assets:
Further, if there is a need to use Particle Network Wallet in this way, it will be described directly in the tutorial material.
Type 2: Log in via other Wallets (WalletConnect, MetaMask, Binance Web3 Wallet, OKX Wallet etc.)
Here, we will consider connecting the wallet via MetaMask.
1. Click on WalletConnect:
2. Choose MetaMask (assuming you already have an existing MetaMask wallet and downloaded extension):
3. In the pop-up MetaMask extension window, sign the transaction to log in to Metale account:
4. You are connected and now can check/copy your Wallet Address and other sections of your account in the top right corner:
Important notes:
- This account type can be powered by both EVM and MPC wallets of other parties. Everyone can manage these wallet types not just on Metale platform, but directly on other wallet platforms such as MetaMask, Binance Web3 Wallet, OKX Wallet, etc.
- Sometimes certain actions on the Metale platform require additional in-wallet confirmation, which can be received only on other wallet platforms.
