Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is chock full of surprises. The issue though is that you could easily miss a whole lot of them. For instance, after completing Side Op 51, you don't get an indication to go visit a now unlocked door on the Medical Platform.

What awaits you in there is certainly a surprise, since Ground Zeroes tried its hardest to make you believe a certain someone died in a horrific explosion.

Yep, I'm talking about Paz, the good guy turned bad (turned good again?) who is now just chilling in the medical bay, apparently without her memory and constantly waiting for you to drop by with various pictures to help her remember her past life.

Miller and Paz – This unlocks Paz in the Medical bay. Look for the door with the blue light above it. It's on the third floor, if you take the stairs up from the interior of the platform.

Show the ten pictures you've acquired from completing the above Side Ops to Paz, at which point you will conclude this storyline and unlock the final pictures on the wall outside of Paz's room.

Paz Ortega Andrade , also known as Pacifica Ocean, an operative working for Cipher who infiltrated Mother Base in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. During her infiltration she attempted to steal Metal Gear ZEKE for Cipher but was stopped by Big Boss. Big Boss fought and defeated Paz while she was controlling ZEKE. She ejected from the cockpit and rocketed to the ocean. Big Boss however had his doubts wether Paz had really died.

In the Ground Zeroes trailer it's revealed that she survived and was rescued by a Belizean fisherman. She was then taken by Cipher to Camp Omega along with Chico to be interrogated. Skull Face then remarks to Chico that he witnessed the painless demise of a female prisoner, refering to Paz. Paz had her hair cut off and was left chained up in a room. Eventually Big Boss rescued both Chico and Paz. Onboard the escape chopper, however, Paz had to be disemboweled to remove a bomb that was planted inside of her. Her fate after this remains unknown.

In this section we will see how to collect all 11 photos to regain Paz memory and unlock the trophy MEMORIES.
To meet the sweet Paz, an old acquaintance of MGS Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes, you’ll have to build the first part of the Medical Platform in Mother Base. Visiting the medical area, go to the middle of the complex and go to the second floor to see a door with a blue light on.
Enter and continue forward to reach a door with a red button. Open it and a cutscene will show you the young Paz without any past memory. You will have to recover the PICTURE, 11 in total, which will help the small to regain his lost memories.
Every souvenir photos will be unlocked at the end of the 10 Side Ops – RECOVER THE STRAY SOLDIERS OF MOTHER BASE. The last picture will instead unlocked separately. To find this one list with the requirements of release and the relative picture:

WARNING: You can not show the photos to Paz all together. You will have, for each photo, leave the Mother Base and back because she will need to rest.
