Meta Platforms is moving into enterprise AI. The company announced Monday it is launching Meta Enterprise Platform, a new arm built to sell its AI tools directly to businesses.

To run it, Meta hired MongoDB CEO Chirantan “CJ” Desai. He will take the title Chief Enterprise Platform Officer and report straight to Mark Zuckerberg.
Desai had only led MongoDB since November. He is leaving that post less than a year in to join Meta.
The new platform will package several of Meta’s AI products for corporate customers. That includes the Muse agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API and Muse Code.
Zuckerberg framed the launch as a major shift for the company. He said it marks the start of a new business pillar sitting alongside Meta’s advertising operations.
