Merz Admits Arguing with Trump Is Pointless
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz admitted that arguing with President Trump is meaningless.
“There is no point in getting into disputes in such an environment. If you look at those who tried, they didn’t do very well,”
Merz told Spanish newspaper ABC.
As an example, he pointed to the February 2025 clash between Trump and Zelensky, after which the Ukrainian leader was reportedly forced to leave the White House early.
