MaryAnn W. Nolan, 85 formerly of Folkston Georgia, who now lived in to Carrabelle Florida, passed away to her Heavenly home on Wednesday February 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. MaryAnn was a Christian woman who loved the Lord and followed him faithfully.


She was born in Chicago Illinois on February 29, 1936 to Friedrich Wiegel and Sophia Kraus Wiegel.


MaryAnn was a Master Seamstress and was well known for her homemade quilts, dolls and clothing. She owned and operated The Country Gift Shop on US1. She was a homemaker, wife, mother to many and loved animals. She was a devout Christian and still a member of Camp Pinckney Baptist Church for over 40 years, where she taught Sunday school. Even though she wasnโ€™t able to attend in person for several years, she was so excited that she was finally able to watch her home church service religiously every Sunday morning on her tablet.


She is survived by four sisters: Adeline Tunison, Sharon Wiegel, Karin (Jerry) Malmin, and Darlene (Walter) Buchwald. Eight daughters: Cindy Dixon of New Bern NC.; Susan Horne of Folkston Ga.; Debra D. (Chuck) Woods of Lincolnton NC.; Kimberly (Keith) Mobley of Waycross Ga.; Tamra Joy Nolan of Carrabelle Fl.; Karyn (Tim) Beard of Folkston Ga.; Renee (Cecil) Bodrey of Carrabelle Fl.; Jodi (Mark) Spurlock of Folkston, Ga.; One son: Billy Nolan of Fairfield ME.; She had Twenty-five Grandchildren and Forty-five Great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.


She is preceded in death by her parents Friedrich & Sophia Wiegel, and four brothers; Freddy (Shorty) Wiegel; David (Linda) Wiegel, Gilbert (Ardelle) Wiegel and Christ (Ella) Wiegel.


Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Christopher Spurlock, Daniel Nolan, Michael Horne, Matthew Dixon, Andrew Bodrey, Willie Bodrey, James Beard, Michael Bolch, Travis Dixon, Jimmy Dixon Abbott, Robbie Dixon, Tyler Dixon Abbott, Eric Dixon, Patrick Mobley, Cecil Bodrey Jr.


The Family will receive friends and family on Monday February 28, 2022 from 6 to 8pm at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia. A celebration of life service will be held at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church at 11am on Tuesday March 1, 2022. Interment will be in Camp Pinckney Cemetery following the service.

Mary Ann Maze, of Austin, Texas, died in the early morning hours of August 24, 2022, from complications of pulmonary aspergillosis.
Mary Ann Maze was born on July 28, 1939, in Gruver, Iowa, to Sylvia and Julius Ingebritson. She graduated from high school in Humboldt, Iowa. Mary met her husband, Donald Meeker Maze, while they were students at Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and they were married in 1960.
Mary was a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. She was an elementary teacher in Gladbrook and Marshalltown in Iowa throughout her career until her retirement from the Marshalltown Public School District in 1996.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Phillip Ingebritson, sister Jean Shannon and niece Mary Ann Clark.
She is survived by her husband Donald, daughters: Susan (Anthony England) and Sondra (David Ladd), grandchildren: Donald Maze-England and Julia Maze-England, step-grandchildren: Kaia Schwartz and Andrew Ladd, sister Susan Cline and many nieces and nephews.
In her memory feed the birds, plant a butterfly garden, read a book or adopt a pet.
Per her request no service is planned.
