Meridian Support

Meridian is a toolkit of network diagnostics that run over ordinary HTTPS, with no account and nothing to buy.

What the tools do

Overview — how the internet sees your connection: public IP, network operator and autonomous system, approximate location, whether IPv6 works, whether encrypted DNS resolves, and latency to major networks.

DNS — every record for a domain (A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CNAME and more) over encrypted DNS, plus a check that two independent resolvers agree.

Site — follow a link's full redirect chain, its response headers, HSTS, and the TLS certificate of the final page.

IP lookup — the country, network operator and autonomous system of any IP or hostname.

Common questions

“Location looks wrong.” Geo-IP places you by your network, not GPS; on mobile networks and some providers it can be off by a city or country.

“IPv6 says not available.” That reflects your current network — many mobile and home networks are IPv4-only.
