A lesbian couple who have an uncanny resemblance have revealed they may actually be half-sisters, but they're still considering staying together even if they're related.
Carley Gonschior and Mercedes Stewart, from Canada , have been dating for the past two years and run the OnlyFans account @notyouraveragesister. They shared their shocking discovery on TikTok , claiming they might have the same father.
'When u find out 2 years into dating that ur moms both slept with the same guy,' they wrote in the on-screen text of the now-viral video, which has been viewed more than 6.9 million times.
'Should we take a DNA test?' they asked in the caption.
Carley Gonschior and Mercedes Stewart, a lesbian couple from Canada, have gone viral on TikTok after claiming they may be half-sisters
According to the duo, they recently discovered their mothers slept with the same man, and they may share a father
Thousands of people have taken to the comments to share their opinions, with many noting that Carley and Mercedes do look eerily similar.
One person commented: 'That could explain why you two look like sisters....'
'When I first saw u I thought u were sisters,' another agreed, while someone else added: 'I HAVE ALWAYS SAID Y'ALL LOOK RELATED.'
Others insisted that they take a DNA test to find out if they are half-sisters.
'Take one immediately,' one TikTok user wrote.
Thousands of people have taken to the comments to share their opinions, with many noting that they do look eerily similar. The couple claimed they are 'scared' to take a DNA test
There were also some skeptics who had a hard time believing their story was real.
'I can't tell if this is real or just a TikTok joke...?' one person admitted, while another added: 'I feel like this is a joke but [you] do [for real] look exactly the same.'
Carley and Mercedes also sparked a debate about whether they have to break up if it turns out they are half-sisters when they asked: 'If we’re actually related is it wrong to stay together?'
'I personally probably wouldn’t but if the love is real and it’s something you can look past, work for it,' one person wrote.
Carley and Mercedes have more than 580,000 followers on TikTok
The Toronto-based couple moved in together in November 2021
Carley and Mercedes also run the OnlyFans account @notyouraveragesister
'They [can't] procreate so it wouldn’t be harmful to any child they have should they choose to,' someone else noted. 'So I personally see nothing wrong with it. You didn’t know.'
Other commenters were horrified and pointed out that it's incest and illegal in most U.S. states and Canada, regardless if they can't have children together.
However, Carley and Mercedes didn't seem to share their horror, and they continued to film cheeky videos that made light of their alleged situation.
'Us happy in our 2 year relationship,' they wrote in a follow-up video, which showed them smiling together. 'Finding out we might be half-sisters,' they added, looking shocked.
The couple sparked a fierce debate in the comments of their first video after asking if it would be 'wrong to stay together' if they found out they're 'actually related'
Some argued they could continue dating because they can't have children together, while other horrified users pointed out it is incest and illegal
'Siblings or dating plot twist.. maybe both???' they wrote in the caption.
In another video that was posted on Monday, they claimed that they have ordered DNA tests and are waiting for them to arrive.
'When they come, you have to spit in the tube and send it off. So it's like a few-week process,' Carley explained.
Mercedes noted that they were confused about how the tests work and were worried they could get inaccurate test results if they kiss.
'If we kiss before we do the test, is that going to affect the DNA results because our salivas will be in each other's mouths?' she asked.
In another video that was posted on Monday, they claimed that they have ordered DNA tests and are waiting for them to arrive
Carley and Mercedes didn't seem to be too upset about they discovery, and they continued to film cheeky videos that made light of their alleged situation
Carley added that they don't know if should refrain from kissing for 24 hours to make sure their DNA isn't 'in each other's mouths.'
'What do we do?' she asked. 'Help.'
In the couple's most recent video, they seemed to clap back at the notion that they are enjoying the possibility that they might be related.
'We LOVE that we found out we might be half-sisters after 2 years of dating,' they wrote in the lip-syncing clip.
'Oh my gosh, I just love your matching dresses,' they lip-synced. 'Really? No!'

Carrera and her husband Daemon Cins were arrested in February 2019 for sexually abusing a child. The duo have been incarcerated since without a court trial as their hearing keeps being postponed

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA: Former adult film star Mercedes Carrera, who is currently facing jail time on charges of sexual abuse of a minor, has had her court trial date delayed for the 12th time in two years.
Carrera, 38, and her husband Jason Whitney aka Daemon Cins, 45, were arrested in February 2019 for sexually abusing a child. The couple has been charged with 10 counts of sexual penetration or oral sex with a minor below 10 years of age. They are also facing charges for subjecting the child to sexual intercourse and sodomy.
Born as Melinda Smith on November 30, 1982, the adult film actress grew up in Los Angeles, California. She belongs to German, Swedish, Puerto Rican, and Lakota descent.
She attended high school in Los Angeles and later earned a graduate degree in Cryogenic Engineering (Optical space test) from California State University, as per Logical Daily . She had mentioned in a tweet once that she had worked in telecom and aerospace engineering prior to joining the porn industry. She had also spent a year in law school.
Smith, who appeared in porn films as Mercedes Carrera, has earned popularity in the adult film industry for starring in over 25 films. The 38-year-old star last appeared in a film in 2019, before her arrest.
Carrera's net worth had been estimated at $600,000 as of 2018. She is married to 43-year-old fellow porn actor and adult film producer Jason Whitney, who appeared in porn films by the screen name Daemon Cins.
Aside from the sexual abuse of a female child, the couple was also arrested on charges of meth possession as well as keeping loaded guns at home. They were arrested from their home in Rancho Cucamonga in California in February 2019, after the local police received information about the alleged abuse in January 2019.
The alleged victim was later identified by Carrera and by the District Attorney as Carrera's daughter from a previous relationship. Carrera and the child's father were estranged over custody issues at the time of the allegations, which were made by the child in the presence of her father and a male police officer from the local precinct in Twin Peaks, Calif.
The Rancho Cucamonga Police were first made aware of the alleged sexual assault on a minor on January 31. Smith and her husband stand accused of "inappropriate touching, oral copulation and digital penetration." After searching Smith and Whitney's home police found evidence corroborating their extensive interview with the young girl, finding two loaded handguns and a bedroom "set" for recording pornographic videos. The abuse allegedly occurred over a four-month period. Both the guns and drugs charges were dropped after the preliminary hearing.
The original police statement from the time of their arrest did not mention the duo as married, but it was updated later after Cins's Twitter bio and social media posts identified Carrera as his wife.
Cins and Carrera have been incarcerated since 2019 without a court trial yet since their hearing keeps on being postponed. This time, Judge Katrina West from San Bernardino County Superior Court delayed the hearing without providing any explanation. As of now, their pre-trial hearing has been set for March 5, 2021. Judge West has ordered the trial to start before April 26, 2021.

Adult film actress Melinda Smith—or Mercedes Carrera, as fans know her—was arrested Tuesday, along with pornographic films producer and director Jason Whitney, for alleged sexual abuse of a young child, CBS Los Angeles reports. Police have reason to believe Smith and Whitney may have sexually assaulted additional victims.
The Rancho Cucamonga Police Department were first made aware of the alleged sexual assault on a minor on January 31. Smith and Winston stand accused of "inappropriate touching, oral copulation and digital penetration." After searching Smith and Whitney's home police found evidence corroborating their extensive interview with the young girl, finding two loaded handguns and a bedroom "set" for recording pornographic videos. The abuse allegedly occurred over a four-month period.
On Wednesday, Whitney and Smith each plead not guilty to eight counts of sexually abusing a child under the age of 10. They were denied bail and are still in custody.
In addition to her career in pornography, Carrera is also a well-known figure in the right-wing Gamergate movement. Prompted by false allegations made by an ex-boyfriend of game developer Zoe Quinn in 2014, Gamergate activists harassed women game developers and video game analysts. While adherents claimed Gamergate was a crusade against journalistic bias they saw in games journalism, several of their principal claims were false, including that a game developer had sex with a game reviewer in exchange for a favorable review (the site ran no review of her game).
Carrera became a star in the movement and with the far right more broadly, appearing on programs hosted by right-wing conspiracy theorist Paul Joseph Watson and Gavin McInnes, founder of the violent extremist group the Proud Boys.
"We all get to make the choice every single day about who we want to be." Carrera said in a Daily Caller profile, railing against feminists and "SJWs," or social justice warriors—an intended insult widely used by conservative social critics against feminists, Black Lives Matter and other civil rights activists.
Police have released photos of Smith and Whitney because of the possibility that other children have been abused under similar conditions and ask that victims call the Rancho Cucamonga Detective Bureau at (909) 477-2800, extension 2850.
