Online dating is a whole lot of fun but only if you’re using the right websites. To help you sort the good from the bad, we spend a lot of time every year reviewing all the popular sites and a lot of the smaller ones. Determining which site you should use can be really tough without a little help from the experts!
Falling for the wrong website and handing over your credit card info can turn into a total disaster. The worst part is, some of them seem entirely legit until it’s too late. Today we’re taking a look at Affair Alert because it’s a site we get asked about often. Rather than take a quick glance and pass judgment, we wanted to dig deep and test out both the free and paid versions of the site
Over the course of our time using Affair Alert we sent over 50 messages to various women and responded to every message that we received . You just can’t get a sense for the quality of a site without using it like this.
We wanted to be fair in our review so we gave a real effort when trying to meet women on this site. This wasn’t just a quick look.
The results were interesting to say the least.
Our team rates each site objectively based on many hours of independent research, the features each site offers, and how it compares with other sites. The ratings are the opinion of our editors and their extensive experience.
Our opinion of how attractive the typical woman is that uses this site and how easy they are to connect with compared to other sites.
How many people are using this site to actually meet people compared to other sites.
How easy is this site to use and how quickly can an average person begin meeting people compared to other sites.
Does this site take proper precautions to safeguard its members, their identity, and their data.
Our opinion of how easily an average person will be able to achieve their dating goals with this site compared to other sites.
Will the time and money spent using this site pay off for an average person based on the opinions and experience of our editors.
As you can see from the graphic, this site turned out to be a straight-up waste of time. The dangerous part is they do actually put some effort into pretending to have real users.
The “chat” messages that constantly pop up are fooling nobody. The “messages” on the other hand (closer to internal emails between members) aren’t quite so obvious.
It wasn’t until I attempted to have a real conversation and ask questions that things become more obvious. It may be a language barrier with the scammers on the other end but the conversation always felt off.
No matter how I approached it, any attempt to escalate was met with the same response too. Here are just a couple of examples of what I’m talking about. Read each one from bottom to top.
I’m not exaggerating when I say every single attempt was met with a response along these lines. Now sure, some women just want to take things slow with online dating and you’ll find that everywhere.
100% strike rate though? Even when you’re talking to women with naked photos in their profile and graphic descriptions of the sex they “need”? Come on.
In case it isn’t clear already, my recommendation is to stay away from this site. Absolutely do not give them your credit card details. If you want to actually use a site that will give you a fair shot of meeting someone for some fun in the bedroom check out Adult FriendFinder (which you can try for free with the link below).
To offer a fair and balanced review, I like to find the positives in a site as well. In this case though, there just aren’t any.
If I had to name one it’d be that some elements of the site drop some red flags early. The problem is, if you ignore these early warning signs, the messages might be enough to convince you it’s legit.
I could really get carried away with the negatives of this site but let’s keep it to three main points.
The purpose of this website is to get your credit card details. It doesn’t actually facilitate any dating, it just pretends to so you sign up for a membership.
To be clear, I’m not suggesting they sell your credit card details or anything. They might but I don’t know that for sure.
Most scammers are pretty obvious about what they’re doing. They only want to spend their time on people naive enough to fall for an obvious scam.
This site, on the other hand, actually puts some effort into it. They’re going out of their way to deceive you, making you think you can actually be having sex tonight. All you have to do is hand over your card info and you’re getting lucky with any number of women.
If you are still reading you need to stop and check out Adult FriendFinder or one of the other hookup sites that actually work . These are the sites that we have actually seen good results with and that are not a complete waste of time.
You only have so much time and energy to spend and spending one more second on Affair Alert is another second wasted.
The final negative here is they constantly push you to sign up but in a sneaky way. From the first second you log into a free account, you’re hit with messages from “women”. They pop up from the bottom of the screen, baiting you into the next step of their process.
Take this screenshot for example. This was minutes after I created a free profile. I hadn’t added a profile pic or bio text yet.
This same thing kept happening throughout the process. Once I had a profile pic they invited me to text them (through the site — another paid service). After signing up for a paid membership, they’d pester me to chat with them (requires a higher level of paid membership).
Some of them even try to make you feel bad for not responding. Comments like “don’t you find me attractive?” and “why won’t anyone talk to me?”
This website claims to be all about fast, simple and discreet hookups. As you might expect, the profiles they use are pretty explicit. The photos are sexual, the bio text is sexual and in many cases English doesn’t appear to be their first language. In all cases, these aren’t real women, they’re just pretending to be.
Far be it from me to judge though, right? Maybe sex really is “one of her medicine when she is tired.” She is a “smoking hot and wild chick”, after all.
Ignoring my other objections to this site, the overall design isn’t terrible. It has a very 2005 feel to it but you can find what you’re looking for.
Navigation is simple enough and using each of the features of the site is fairly intuitive. The constant use of naked and semi-naked women everywhere is a little cringe but all in all, it’s functional.
Maybe not the most aesthetically pleasing, design and functionality isn’t all that far behind legitimate dating sites.
There are two methods of communication between members on this site. Chat is a live text conversation that pops up from the bottom of the screen (think Facebook Messenger). You need a top-tier membership to use this feature.
This is frustrating because as a paid member because you’re constantly bombarded with chat messages. You can’t reply to any of them yet the messages just keep coming!
Messages, on the other hand, are more like internal mail between users. Similar to an early-2000s webmail interface, you can see how many unread messages you have when you log in.
It works but the very dated message interface makes it cumbersome to use.
As mentioned, the purpose of these conversations is to convince you there are real users on the site. More specifically, to convince you there are attractive women on this site that want to have sex with you.
All of these conversations turned out to be fake. The chat messages are designed to bait you into the next step of their process while the messages keep you hooked. Ultimately they want you to fall for this for several months so they can keep charging you.
The only thing you can do on this site with a free membership is look around. You can search for women in your area and look at their profiles but that’s where it ends.
No chatting, no messages, you sending “gifts”. Nothing. While frustrating, it’s also fairly normal to be honest. Even legitimate sites have to make money somehow, right?
There are some blatant ads across the site and all of them are adult-related and very explicit. Beyond that, they also have adult movies and “Cams” sections. Technically these aren’t really ads but they are addons to the site.
The movies require you to upgrade your membership and the cams want you to tip the models. ‘Cams’ is a brand new feature and appears to be as fake as everything else on the site. A quick Google of the names of their camgirls shows that they’re actually performers on another prominent camming site.
Both of these features are advertised all over the site.
Pricing for this site is actually quite confusing. For this review I signed up for the “Monthly VIP Membership as shown in the breakdown below.
It might seem like the top package since it’s “VIP” and the most expensive but that isn’t the case. While it doesn’t give you any additional info here to make a decision, the Gold membership is actually the top.
That’s the one that gives you access to all features across the site including chat and the “free” porn. That might seem counterintuitive since the price is roughly a third of the VIP but think about what they’re doing here.
They know there aren’t that many suckers likely to fall for this charade for 2 or 3 months in a row. If they get $69.90 from you today for 6 months, that’s still more than a single month at $29.95.
You can use the site for free but as I mentioned above, all you can do is look. You have to pay before you can start interacting with anyone.
With so many mentions of this website online, it’s no surprise people have a lot of questions. Let’s take a look at the three most asked questions about Affair Alert. Have more questions about this website? Let us know and we’ll happily look into it for you — we’re all about research and education!
AffairAlert.com is a terrible website that pretends to offer online dating and hookups. In truth, the site is “for entertainment purposes only”, which means the site uses employees or bots to pose as users.
AffairAlert expertly hides the name of the company that owns and/or operates it. That’s not a good sign.
For concerns about your Affair Alert account, you can email them at help@trustedassist.com or call them at 1-800-564-9432.
While AffairAlert.com is a real site, its users are likely not. They use “Fantasy Cuties”, which are either bots or employees posing as users.
Absolutely not. Some sections of AffairAlert are reasonably convincing and conversations feel real on occasion. When it comes to setting up a date though, the response is always the same. They want to “get to know you” more first (ie they want you to spend longer on the site chasing them).
Affair Alert might not be a scam, but they try to conceal the fact that the site is populated by bots or employees acting as users.
No, we don’t think AffairAlert.com is a safe site to use.
Forget AffairAlert. Our list of the best hookup apps and sites has much better options to try out.
You can create a free Affair Alert account, but all you can do is look around. But if you want to contact anyone on the site, you need a paid membership.
No, AffairAlert.com doesn’t have an app.
Below are the AffairAlert membership plans:
You can’t really use Affair Alert for free since you need a paid account to send anyone messages.

Honest Dating Reviews © DATING INSIDER
For whatever reason, girls with boyfriends, or even those who are married , are more alluring than those who are single. Perhaps the enticement comes from knowing you can look, but you can’t touch because someone else is already in the picture.
Believe it or not, there are women out there who actively cheat on their husbands for various reasons. But the one thing they do not want is their husbands finding out. That’s where sites like Affair Alert come in.
If you’re just hearing about AffairAlert.com, it’s an affair dating site where men and women who want to find someone to cheat on their partners with can find them. The men who want to find these types of women, or vice versa, and the site lets them chat and meet up.
If you think this sounds too good to be true, or actually work, you’re rightfully skeptical. When you’re dealing with adult dating and cheating apps , there’s always a risk.
But to find out the truth about this hookup site, I’m going to do the dirty work for you and create an account with them to give you the dating insider scoop on this site. Read on for the full Affair Alert review.
Before you can even sign up for AffairAlert.com, you have to agree to keep the privacy of these women’s identities that you may find on the site discreet, even if you see someone you know using the site.
Already that lets me know that Affair Alert takes privacy seriously. You kind of need that when you’re cheating on your husband.
The four-step process to sign-up breezes by. You provide your email address, answer some basic questions about what you’re looking for. After providing this information, you’re then you’re left with the mess that is their website.
An annoying alert to activate your account blocks you from actually entering the homepage of the site and accessing everything else, and I had trouble finding the e-mail they sent me.
As you could probably guess, it was in my spam folder. Once I got past that stage, I was hoping to have a better experience, but sadly, I was wrong.
The profile photos of the “women” (they could be fake profiles for all I know) looked like lousy flip-phone nudes from the 2000s, and incredibly generic.
Usually, sites like these have some nudity like this to them, but the profiles on this site are overly zealous. In my experience, that usually means there’s something fishy going on.
This site looks more like a porn site than a hookup site, and they even have live cams and XXX-video links. It’s not a negative, but it distracts from the purpose of the site.
After browsing a few more profiles, I decided that there’s a mix of both fake and real profiles on this site, and if you want to take the time to figure out which one each profile you talk to is, that’s on you.
Affair Alert has all of the standard features that every good adult dating site needs; a message inbox, friends and favorites lists, an instant chat feature , and one unique feature to make the app more fun to use. That feature for Affair Alert is called ‘Quickie’ and is a game you could play on the site.
From your selected matches, you can click whether you are interested in someone or not based on their profile picture, and if you are, that person will get notified of it and let you know if they’re also interested in you.
When playing this game, you’ll see your matches first, and once you start to run out of them, other members’ profiles will show up.
If you need to search for someone with as little or as much detail as you’d like, you can do that with Affair Alert’s search tool . Friend requests are also common on this site, and they let you connect and socialize with people. If you really like someone and want to make sure that you never lose their profile, you can add them to your favorites list, as well, to always have their profile at hand.
Throughout my use of the site, there was one thing I could not escape, and that was the upgrade pop-up. There isn’t a lot you can do for free.
Because I became so familiarized with the upgrade package options through the constant reminders, allow me to tell you just how much a paid membership to AffairAlert.com costs.
It’s not ridiculous to think that one would be hesitant in giving their money to this site, but before you make any long-term commitments, you can get a 3-day trial of an Affair Alert membership for $2.97 per day. This trial lets you send 10 messages and gets you 10 profile views per day.
While you only get a selected amount of messaging and profile views with the trial period, when you choose any of the other three membership plans, you get an unlimited amount of both those features.
The first option is a monthly VIP membership that retails for $29.95 per month, and the second is a silver membership for 3 months at $16.65 per month, and the last option is a gold membership for 6 months priced at $11.65 per month.
All of these options are billed in one payment on your credit card for the total of their duration, and renew automatically unless canceled.
There’s an insane amount of extremely horny women using the service, so if you’re looking for a site that’s guaranteed to get you laid, then you’ve found it. After you chat for a while exchange contact info, fuck book account info, or snap cheat accounts, to keep in touch offline.
That is if these women are real women and not some automated profiles and messages.
The inclusion of XXX-videos and live webcams also makes for the site to be fun and offers something other than communication between members.
You can’t escape the ads on this site, even as a paying member and there are so many of them.
Also, it’s some of the profiles on Affair Alert are real, but some are “fantasy cuties”, or fake profiles ran by the site. If you’re not all that concerned with meeting up with anyone in real life, and will suffice for cyber affairs, that should be no problem anyhow.
I’m not going to lie — Affair Alert looks pretty sketchy, but then some profiles make you think otherwise. If you want to take the chance and see how successful you are in using this site, unfortunately, you won’t be able to do so without making a payment to them. For that reason, you should always start out with the trial version with hookup sites like this.
Overall, Affair Alert gets 2.5/5 stars . If you’re looking for married people wh want to cheat, then this site is just for you, and despite its flaws, there seems to be plenty of real people looking to hookup.
Adult Friend Finder is one of the most popular and well-known dating sites. While it’s not specifically an affair site, you’ll find cheating wives among the other countless active members. If you’re looking to hookup, you can’t go wrong with AFF.
Ashley Madison is a very well-known and infamous affair dating site. If you really want to hookup with a cheating wife or husband, then this is one of the best dating sites you can pick.
Affair Alert is an affair dating site, made for anyone looking to hook up with cheating wives and husbands. You can sign up to find an affair, or find someone looking to cheat.
One month of the premium VIP membership costs $29.95. You can pay for six months at once, and get the cost down to $11.65 per month.
Affair Alert seems pretty sketchy, but looking at some of the profiles, it’s clear there are real women using this site to try and cheat on their husbands. It isn’t a total scam. If that’s something that you’re interested in, we r
