That’s the first thing I noticed when watch those episodes. It’s usually pretty obvious when an actress is pregnant on set, but the character isn’t.
After you notice it once, you’ll notice it a lot more. Different camera tricks, shooting the character behind stuff, or in baggy clothes that have something to do with the story line.
i like it in the cruise episode where they used cool cinematography tricks and they used the big bag she held to hide it.
i gotta give it to the editors and camera people, they really know how to do their jobs.

Omg the scene where they break into Captain Holt's closet to wear his clothes, just so EVERYONE is wearing baggy clothing and not just her..
Super obvious. I was waiting for something to happen where Rosa wouldn't "work out" so they would HAVE to resort to Amy.
In "Mom", when Jaime Pressly was pregnant with twins, they made her character fat because she was eating her feelings instead of drinking them.
Her character then went to food addiction rehab and you only saw her via video chat in a few episodes.
Noticed it when rewatching the office season 4 and Angela is always wearing a coat, or puffy dress and filmed from the chest up. But you can totally see her baby weight gain in her face.
The only series I didn't notice this so far was for Robin in HIMYM. Never clicked at all, and normally I spit it straight away and get really annoyed by the sudden waist high shots or weirdly placed bags etc.
Tip to spot these (it can be kind of fun): it's in the face. I will usually spot the fuller/puffier face and then you can easily spot the camera tricks they are using (above the stomach shots, oversized clothes, large props or bags, and even interesting plots like meredith grey donating a kidney or elaine benes going to Europe)
You can tell in her face. They also don’t always hide it well, she sits behind a lot of bowls and stuff but sometimes they just leave her jacket open...
My absolute favourite is How I Met Your Mother hiding Alyson Hannigan's pregnancy. They had a few episodes of her never standing up from behind the table and other such generic nonsense, and then when it was time for her to actually go and give birth they did this

I still giggle when I think of a particular Walking Dead episode where they talk about one character going on an "expedition" soon and that character is standing behind an obnoxiously obviously placed plate.
