Just some good ole fashioned deadlifts. I still have no interest competing in my usually annual powerlifting meet BUT I definitely want to compete in something this fall to get the juices flowing and focus in on a short term goal. WHAT SHOULD I DO? Strongman? Weightlifting? Throw things for sport? Let me know. The more bizarre the better. 🥇🥈🥉🏅🏆🎖

23 Week Bumpie! I’ve been feeling really great through the 2nd trimester.
I noticed some heaviness in my pelvic floor a few nights after training so went to see my pelvic floor PT yesterday. All is good, and the heaviness is just a sign that I should back off intensity and listen to it. I’ve been a little lazy in my breathing exercises, so I’ve been doing those in bed now.
No crazy cravings, but I’ve been loving eggs, cheese, and ice cream 🍳🧀🍦
Apparently in the next 4 weeks, baby should double in size 😝😝 so ill try to get more diligent with posting bumpdates.
Training is going well on Stronger by the Day with modifications, but I’m switching over to my prenatal program now that it’s finished being written. The program won’t be available until late spring / early summer but ill give it a spin for ya!

Meg has successfully coached hundreds of powerlifters through either their first squat, first meet, or first national-level competition. Through her YouTube channel and professional passion for the sport of powerlifting, she has studied under and interviewed the strongest strength athletes in the world. Meg is the founder of Strong Strong Friends, a coaching company with a mission of getting a barbell in every woman's hands.

After playing basketball and running cross country at the collegiate level, Meg eventually found crossfit and strength training. The competitive spark of crossfit ignited an interest to lead her to compete in crossfit, bodybuilding, weightlifting, strongman, and powerlifting.
Meg has gone on to compete in powerlifting at the Arnold Pro Raw Challenge, USAPL Nationals 2015-2017, and has been invited to participate in lifting exhibitions and seminars throughout the United States.
Her most recent performance at the 2017 USAPL Nationals resulted in a 9/9 performance, hitting 137.5kg (303lb) squat, 77.5kg (171lb) bench, 182.5kg (402lb) deadlift, and a 432 wilks score.
