Meghan, wife of Prince Harry, court 'continues to defend its lies'
Prince Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, said Buckingham Palace could not expect her and her husband to remain silent if the Royal Family "kept up their lies about us".
In a snippet of Oprah Winfrey's televised interview with the couple, Meghan was asked how she felt about the palace hearing her "speak the truth today."
Meghan said: "If that comes with the risk of losing something, I mean ... there is already a lot missing."
Buckingham Palace said it was investigating claims that Meghan abused palace staff.
The allegations leveled against Meghan were made public after the interview with Winfrey was recorded.

Prince Harry and Meghan will not return to the Royal Family
The television interview with Oprah Winfrey, which will air in the United States on Sunday (07/03) and in the UK on Monday (08/03), is expected to tell in detail the moment when Harry and Meghan played active members of the royal family before they resigned and moved to California, United States.
In the 30-second clip released by the CBS station, Winfrey asks Meghan: "How do you feel about the court hearing you speak the truth today?"
Meghan replied: "I don't know how they can expect that, after all this time, we will remain silent if there is an active role played by The Firm (Royal Family) to continue to defend lies about us."
The Palace were "very concerned"
Earlier, Britain's Buckingham Palace said it would investigate allegations that Prince Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, had abused palace staff. The Palace admitted they were "deeply concerned" by the accusations.
This statement comes after reports in The Times daily that Meghan faced complaints about the bullying while she was still an active royal.

Her spokeswoman said the woman with the title of Duchess of Sussex was deeply saddened by the "recent attacks on her personality."
The court stated that they "will not tolerate bullying and any form of harassment." The palace will also speak to the staff involved "to see if there are lessons to be learned," the statement said.
According to The Times report, the complaint was filed in October 2018, when the couple Harry and Meghan were staying at Kensington Palace.

A leaked email from a staff member, published by the newspaper, suspects that Meghan caused two of her personal assistants to leave the palace. The report also said he also undermined the dignity of a third staff member.
In a statement, Buckingham Palace - which is responsible for recruiting members of the palace household staff - said: "We are clearly very concerned about the allegations reported by The Times following claims from former staff of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
"Therefore, our human resources team will examine the matters contained in the article. The staff members involved at that time, including those who are no longer working in the palace household, will be invited to speak to ascertain whether there is any lesson. that can be picked.
"The court household has adopted a Dignity at Work policy for several years and does not and will never tolerate workplace bullying or harassment."
Meghan's spokesperson earlier said Prince Harry's wife was saddened by the latest attacks on her person, especially as someone who has been the target of bullying like herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced wounds and trauma.

"He is determined to continue his work of building compassion around the world and will continue to strive to set an example of doing what is right and doing what is good."
In a way, everyone agrees that the interview Meghan gave Oprah Winfrey - which will air in the United States on Sunday - is cause for concern.
The palace staff had long felt uncomfortable wanting to get a story out of their way; some felt that they went to great lengths to help Meghan after her marriage only to be treated harshly or then to be seen as ignored or worse.
The Sussex team prepares for the story. "This is a pretty broad list of things that have been put together," one source told the BBC. "The timing is not coincidental."
