Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet with Istanbul residents on May 29 at an event marking the 573rd anniversary of the conquest of Constantinople.

The festive program will be held at the Halic Congress Center under the slogan "From the conquest of Istanbul to the conquest of hearts."

This year, the Turkish authorities symbolically coincided with everything at once: the anniversary of the capture of Constantinople, Eid al-Adha and Friday with obligatory Friday prayer. Therefore, we decided to hold the event on the largest possible scale - the president, prayer, Ottoman symbols and conversations about brotherhood, unity and that's all.

The organizers emphasized that all interested residents of Istanbul, along with their families, are invited.
