Meeting Between the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship Representatives and JICA


On July 3 of this year, Shakhruh Sharahmetov of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship held a meeting with employees of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) office in Uzbekistan. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss current bilateral cooperation, prospects for its further development, and strengthening relations.

The First Deputy Director of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Shakhruh Sharahmetov, briefly informed about the key areas of the School's work. He also mentioned that the Graduate School and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan highly appreciate JICA's contribution to the professional development of the country's organization employees.

The head of the JICA office in Uzbekistan noted with satisfaction the regular meetings between the leadership of the Graduate School and JICA, which contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, a JICA volunteer working at the Graduate School for a two-year period presented a report on his work. He shared his experience of teaching courses on "International Business" and "Economics and Management of Japan" to the School's students, as well as conducting master classes on Japanese culture for staff. The volunteer expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and support from the Graduate School's leadership and staff.

Furthermore, the participants discussed prospective areas for developing cooperation, including JICA's assistance within the framework of grant programs and projects. New initiatives were proposed to strengthen partnership relations and enhance the effectiveness of joint projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the head of JICA thanked the Graduate School's leadership for the long-term cooperation and warm reception of volunteers. In turn, Shakhruh Sharahmetov also thanked JICA for their assistance and expressed readiness to expand cooperation in other areas of mutual interest.

This meeting highlighted the importance and productivity of the cooperation between the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship and JICA. Both parties expressed confidence in the successful continuation of joint work and the development of new projects aimed at improving educational and managerial practices in Uzbekistan.
