Ahmet Özgür Yazaydın is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at University College London (UCL) and an internationally recognized expert in molecular modelling and the application of nanostructured materials in energy and environmental protection.
Professor Yazaydın’s research covers key areas of sustainable development, including water purification, carbon dioxide capture, gas separation, and membrane technologies.
He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), USA. He is also a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), and the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).
His extensive international academic and teaching experience contributes to the evaluation of educational programmes, analysis of their content in line with contemporary requirements, and enhancement of their quality based on international standards.
