Medvedev: NATO has “gone nuts”

The North Atlantic Alliance has “lost its mind,” said Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council.

“NATO has gone nuts. First, the Americans kill the leader of Iran and start a big war in the Middle East,” he wrote on the MAX messenger.

Medvedev stressed that NATO is also discussing “the use of Article 5 of the Washington Treaty to help the United States.”

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed the opinion that the EU had surpassed the North Atlantic Alliance in terms of anti-Russian rhetoric.
