Update: Rockstar has removed the mechanic from the game. Let this be a thread to remember him for what he really was! An innocent guy who delivered vehicles to us, and then got beaten on by players. We miss you mechanic. Scratch was already there right? - Come back to us...

Too many appreciation threads on cars. None on the men who proudly risk their lives to bring you these cars when you're lost in the middle of nowhere (and then usually end up being shot, crashed, set on fire, etc).

That's like, $2.08 an hour when you consider that he's on call 24/7.
He did drive my car away from a tank once. Pretty nice of him.

That's why I brutally murder him when I catch up with him and burn his corpse.

Another thing I noticed is that they're like the keepers from the Citadel.
When one dies, another one is genetically spawned to take it's place without you hiring another one.

My mechanic once stole my car from me and I had to chase him miles to get it back. When I pulled him out of my car, he then proceeded to punch my face over and over.
If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have sold that crappy car to get a better one. Moments like those you realize who your true friends are. Mechanics.

...seriously, one time in twenty he does something dumb. Maybe less. And I don't mind Channel X.
Man. In a previous thread, I gave this dumb ass the benefit of the doubt. until he drove around MULTIPLE blocks at the docks where you bring cars for simeon.
The only reason why this idiot stopped, was because I got in front of him, and killed him (while i walked in front of him, he HONKED and told me to get out of the way) Worst/best mechanic ever.

I beat his ass every time he delivers a car and make certain to grab whatever $$ he drops.
Sometimes though he runs away and the game won't let me chase him down and punch him his his face. This saddens me.

I'm sorry but my mechanic is always an asshole to me, no respect for him. He's always late, "can't get there right now" or when he delivers, he just takes laps around my proximity which pisses me off
f*ck that sh*tty ass mechanic and his whole family as well. That motherf*cker either brings me the wrong car or dicks me around for 20 mins when I need him most. Eat sh*t and die mechanic! eat sh*t and die!
everytime i call this moron i have to consider that there is a 50% chance of not getting my car. or he takea a sightseeing tour around the block,
f*ck that guy! He only brings my car when its suitable for him, wtf am I paying him for!
He tries to do a good job. Almost everytime I get my car he says "I warmed it up for ya" thanks mechanic :3

Yet when you need it the most you get "Sorry, you're gonna have to do without for now" or he takes it some place waaaaaaaaay over there. f*ck him.

My mechanic once ran over an NPC who was trying to beat me up, for this I am willing to forgive the occasional mistake.
He still gets a baseball bat to the skull every time he scratches my car though.
I appreciate killing of all the mechanics.
