🤔 What is Meander?

Meander is a global mentorship platform which helps people find and grow in careers that they are passionate about. We are an early stage startup with an ambitious vision to streamline career development and support people in their career decision making process. Last year we raised a pre-seed round of $2.5M led by leading early-stage European VC firms Cherry Ventures and Mosaic Ventures, with further investment from a supergroup of angel investors including Bradley Horowitz (Google), Deb Liu (Ancestry), Ujjwal Singh (Meta), Paul Forster (Indeed), Phil Chambers (Peakon), and many more. Our goal is to support people throughout their career journey and build a new waive of tech professionals who have no limits.

Our founders:

Anna Buldakova. Anna is an ex PM lead at Facebook, Intercom, Yandex and also a founder of No Flame No Game, a popular blog about product management. Anna is passionate about Future of Work topics, with specific focus on community and well-being.

Victor Buldakov. Victor is an ex Senior Software Engineer at WhatsApp, with more than 11 years of experience of building products and eng teams at Facebook, Zalando, N26, Yandex. While his interests range from AR to blockchain, his primary focus is on developing reliable web services for millions of users.

We're currently on the lookout for a Junior Product Designer with a thirst for knowledge and a spark of creativity to join us in shaping the future of work. If you're at the dawn of your career and eager to widen your skill set, then you might be just who we're looking for! Our design team members are more than just designers - they're influencers in product decisions and play an essential role in shaping our product and marketing strategies, all while juggling various tasks in these areas.

Essentials

You're either a seasoned Junior Product Designer with 12 months of experience under your belt, or you've independently brought at least three personal projects to life - we can't wait to see them!

Got a background in tech companies as a product manager, researcher, analyst, or engineer? Looking to transition to Product Design? Awesome, we're all ears - your unique experience might just be the twist we need in our team.

A whiz with Figma

You can put together a basic prototype quicker than one can say "design".

You're eager to support, improve, and even challenge our evolving design system. Yes, we encourage healthy debates!

Your thoughts and opinions flow effortlessly, and you're never shy to express them.

Comfortable flying solo and collaborating with a team

And most importantly, you're always ready to inject some fun into work. Let's enjoy the ride! :)

How We Roll

You will be working remotely

You should be based in the UK and have a working visa

It’s a full-time position but we're flexible and open to discussing other options.
