McKayla Maroney has proudly confirmed that she is the one who posted the sultry Instagram video of herself showing off her curves in nothing but a tiny tank top and black thong, after many fans thought she had been hacked.
The racy video , which has racked up more than 800,000 views since it was posted on Saturday, led many to believe that the 21-year-old Olympic gymnast was the victim of a hacking.
However, she set her fans straight later that day, revealing that she was the one who posted the footage of herself scantily clad and seductively dancing.
McKayla Maroney took to Instagram on Saturday to share a video of herself showing off her curves in a tiny tank top and a black thong
In the video, McKayla is seen running her fingers through her hair while shaking her pert backside for the camera.
'Another world premiere,' she captioned the sexy footage, which had jaws dropping over the weekend.
A couple of years ago, the athlete had nude photos of herself leaked online, and her new video led many to believe that she had been hacked again.
However, she took to both Twitter and Instagram to confirm that she was the one who posted the video.
She captioned the sultry footage of herself dancing: 'another world premiere'
She tweeted: 'hey, im just doing me. if u want me to be a role model so bad, get inspired by how i give 0 f***s and go do u.'
McKayla shared a similar message on Instagram along with a photo of someone making a shadow of a heart with her hands over a meadow filled with flowers, writing: 'i didn't get hacked. unfollow if u need to. all love.'
In 2014, nude photos of McKayla were leaked onto several pornography sites, and her attorney wrote letters to site likes Porn.com demanding that they remove the naked images of the then-teenager.
McKayla's lawyers confirmed that the photos of the gymnast were taken when she was under 18-years-old; despite the fact that she previously tweeted the photos of her were 'fake'.
'Shout out to my fans for defending me all day long.. even when things got weird u stood by me. and that meant the world,' she tweeted at the time.

McKayla also shared a stream of tweets about the video on her Twitter page
Almost three years later, many of her 1.2 million Instagram followers thought she was hacked for a second time before she took credit for the video.
Unsurprisingly, the footage caused an uproar in the comments section, as people fiercely debated whether or not it was appropriate for her to post the footage when she is a 'role model' for young girls.
'So much for the whole role model thing,' one person wrote, while another commented: 'Wow you are on the way to rock bottom..lol no pun intended.'
However, some people just saw the video as a sign that the Olympian is growing up, with many noting she is working on becoming a musician in Los Angeles.
McKayla became an online star after she was photographed pursing her lips in a moment of disappointment at the 2012 Olympics, which became known as her 'not impressed' face
The former gymnast's meme-worthy face was her reaction to her second place finish during the vault finals at the 2012 Games
'You are unbelievably sexy and beautiful - keep expressing yourself however you see fit,' one person wrote.
Meanwhile, others accused McKayla of having her derriere surgically enhanced by getting butt implants.
'WTF did you do to yourself? Mckay chill,' someone commented. 'You are heading down a path I promise you later on you will regret. You dont need those fake enhancements. Just get back into the gym and do your thing. Come on girl!'
It has been nearly five years since McKayla helped the U.S. gymnastics team take home the gold at the London 2012 Olympics.
After retiring from gymnastics in February 2016, McKayla revealed she was pursuing a career in music in Los Angeles
The former athlete often shares sultry photos of herself on Instagram, and people have been debating if it is appropriate because she is a 'role model' for young girls
During the games, the former gymnast won the hearts of millions after she was photographed pursing her lips on the medal podium in a moment of disappointment over her second place finish in the vault finals.
The image of her 'not impressed' face over her silver medal turned her into an internet sensation.
However, last summer, she was called out by fans for her 'trout mouth' after she looked almost unrecognizable during a telecast of the Women's Gymnastics Olympic Trials that took place in July.
The telecast featured old clips of McKayla competing in the 2012 Olympics, and fans quickly took to Twitter to point out how much she has changed, particularly in terms of the plump pout she now models.
McKayla's new image has also sparked plastic surgery rumors, with some claiming she got butt implants after she posted the video of herself dancing

But a few days later, McKayla insisted her new look was the result of the make-up tricks she had incorporated into her beauty routine.
'First of all, that I haven't,' she told Seventeen.com about the rumors that she's had lip injections. 'And I've posted a picture on Instagram last night that was like, how do I make my face look like I didn't do anything to my face when I literally have not done anything to my face?'
McKayla announced her retirement from elite gymnastics in February 2016 during an interview on the GymCastic podcast in which she spoke candidly about her health issues and her desire to put her 'worth and value into something else'.
The former athlete is now pursuing a career in music and looking to become a male version of Drake. That ambition has made her an even stronger presence on social media, and she often posts photos of herself modeling crop tops and figure-hugging ensembles.
'Growing up in the social media world, it's tough,' she told Seventeen.com at the time. 'Your face changes, you get older, your face fills out, and you fall into liking makeup and different stuff like that. And for people saying that, for the most part — it would kind of hurt my feelings when you haven't done anything.'

McKayla Maroney was underage when the leaked photos of her were taken, and her legal team is attempting to remove the hacked properties from the internet.
According to TMZ, Maroney’s lawyer contacted Porn.com demanding they remove the photos, which were spread across the internet Sunday as part of a massive leak of hacked celebrity photos. In the letter to the website, the attorney said the Olympic gymnast was underage when the photo was taken. Maroney did not turn 18 until Dec. 9.
Another one of Maroney’s attorneys sent cease and desist letters to other sites demanding that they remove the photos on grounds of copyright infringement, which implies Maroney owns the photos.
These letters are a strong indication that the photos are real, even though Maroney referred to them as “fake” over Twitter early Monday morning.
Though only a few alleged photos of Maroney were leaked, it’s possible some people are in possession of many more. Deadspin posted screenshots of a Facebook conversation between two people that shows one claimed to have possession of many celebrity photos. The conversation took place weeks before the Labor Day weekend leak. At the time, the person claimed to have 95 photos and four videos of Maroney. The sheer amount of photos and video allegedly possessed by the individual is another strong indication that the gymnast’s phone was hacked.
The origins of the leak are still being hotly debated. Speculation is that the photos were obtained by targeted hacks of individual phones or by some insecurities in the iCloud. The perpetrator(s) are likely facing serious legal consequences for their actions.

Baker Mayfield didn't have to wait long to once again be QB1. It was reported last week that the Carolina Panthers were going to name Mayfield their starting quarterback for the Week 1 contest versus the Cleveland Browns, the 27-year-old's former employer who shipped him to Carolina in July after it acquired Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans via an offseason trade. Carolina confirmed on Monday that Mayfield will get the nod over 2021 Week 1 starter Sam Darnold for the Sept. 11 game. "When we started this process, we were looking at three things," Panthers head coach Matt Rhule explained, according to Darin Gantt of the club's website. "Number one, mastery of the offense, number two, situational football excellence, and number three, moving the ball and getting guys involved. That's been our focus all along. "Baker has made a lot of improvement, a lot of growth in all three areas in a short amount of time." Mayfield suffered a serious injury to his non-throwing shoulder in Week 2 of the 2021 campaign that required him to undergo offseason surgery and was never quite the same after that setback. As noted by ESPN stats, the first overall pick from the 2018 NFL Draft finished last season 27th overall with an 83.1 passer rating and with a 35.1 total QBR. He completed 60.5 percent of his throws for 3,010 yards with 17 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. "All along, we've felt like we need to have a really strong quarterback room, and have every quarterback ready to play," Rhule added in his comments. "The reality of this league is most teams will play multiple quarterbacks. Sam has worked incredibly hard, played really well for us during training camp, and will be ready to go if and when it's needed." Meanwhile, the Browns remain on track to start backup Jacoby Brissett versus Mayfield and the Panthers with Watson suspended over allegations of sexual misconduct during massage sessions.
In addition to being friends both on and off the links, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy have also become the biggest -- or, at least the most vocal -- defenders of the PGA Tour as the feud with the breakaway LIV Golf Invitational continues. The pro golfers are taking that alliance a step further, with reports surfacing over the weekend that the duo is pitching a plan to add a series of one-off competitions in a "non-green grass, stadium environment" starting during the 2024 PGA season. "Multiple sources say a series of events will be held in partnership with the PGA Tour and that more specifics could be announced by Commissioner Jay Monahan this week at the Tour Championship," Golf Week reported on Sunday. While exact details about these events have not been released, the message Woods and McIlory are sending to the rest of the sports world is already pretty clear. Despite the PGA Tour's effort to adjust the tour schedule and elevate purses for next season, the dynamic duo is going the extra mile to combat LIV Golf and players who defect to the Saudi Arabia-backed league. It also hints that Woods won't be retiring any time soon. The 15-time major champion remains adamant he isn't stepping away from the game despite playing in a limited number of events in his return from a major car accident in 2021. Between spearheading a meeting with the PGA's top players last week and this new venture with McIlroy, it looks like Woods will remain very much at the forefront of the golf world even if he isn't competing as much. As for McIlroy, he has an end-of-the-season championship to fight for. The Irishman is part of the 30-man field heading into next weekend's Tour Championship. It's been a rocky playoffs for McIlroy, who missed the cut at the FedEx St. Jude Championship and tied for eighth last weekend at the BMW Championship.
The Grizzlies are showing interest in Kevin Durant and have made “new inquiries” on the Nets‘ star forward, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. As Charania writes within his round-up of the latest Durant-related rumors from around the NBA, the Grizzlies could include up to five first-round picks in a package for the two-time Finals MVP (their own 2023, 2025, 2027, and 2029 selections, plus Golden State’s top-four protected 2024 pick). The team also has a bevy of young talent on its roster beyond star guard Ja Morant, including Jaren Jackson Jr., Desmond Bane, Ziaire Williams, Brandon Clarke, Kennedy Chandler and David Roddy. However, according to Charania, Memphis hasn’t appeared inclined to offer Jackson or Bane in a deal for Durant, preferring to build an offer around their draft picks. Given that the Nets are reportedly seeking a win-now return for Durant, that sort of offer is unlikely to pique their interest, even if the picks are unprotected — those first-rounders may have to be rerouted to a third team that could send Brooklyn the kind of impact players the team is seeking. While the Grizzlies are an intriguing new suitor for Durant, there are still a number of other teams in the mix. The Celtics, Raptors and Heat remain among the most significant threats to land the 33-year-old, Charania says, though Toronto has continued to resist including Scottie Barnes and Miami has “yet to seriously engage” in any discussions involving Bam Adebayo. Boston, meanwhile, has been unwilling to include Marcus Smart or Robert Williams in addition to Jaylen Brown, Charania says. The Suns also remain involved, offering up Mikal Bridges and a series of draft picks, according to Charania, but they appear to be behind those Eastern teams among Durant’s most serious suitors. Charania identifies the Sixers, Bucks, Nug
