Even in your twilight years, you are still entitled to feel attractive and sexy, if you wish. Chrissy Sparks, from Birmimgham, UK, is a master of incredible boudoir photography, and is able to bring the best out in any woman using make-up, lighting and editing techniques.
“I want everyday women to have access to a full photoshoot experience and magazine cover style images that models usually do,” Chrissy told the Mirror. “Through my work, I celebrate women of all shapes and sizes and believe that with the right posing, lighting and styling, I can bring out the best in a woman’s beauty.”
From her Birmingham studio Dollhouse Photography , which has over $250,000 worth of lingerie, corsets, dresses, costumes and other accessories, Chrissy and her team shoot women of all ages. It is, however, the older ladies that have the most startling transformations. “After the photoshoot I work on the photographs in post-production,” she says. “I remove cellulite, muffin tops, scars, bruises, spots and uneven skin tone. “I also reduce lines & wrinkles, smooth the silhouette and enhance muscle tone.”
“The reasons they want a shoot are varied – it could be something just to make them feel sexy. I have a knack at assessing a client’s face, skin and posture to look past signs of ageing and capture images that bring out the best in a woman.”
“Most mature clients want to look well for their age and are not interested in chasing after their youth.”
While Chrissy acknowledges that many of her clients arrive very nervous and with body hangups, she says that the results of the photoshoots often do wonders for self-esteem. “The reactions have been everything from bursting into tears of delight, thank you cards and gifts, and many heart warming accounts of how the shoot has boosted their self esteem and confidence,” she says.
“Seeing the women so happy with their images makes the long hours and huge personal investment into the business worth every bit.”

It's a good way to remind that inside every grandma lives a young and wild girl XD
When I wake up I feel 18, until I pass the mirror
When I wake up I feel 50 years old, until I pass the mirror. Then I feel like 60 years old. And then I remind myself, that I'm still in my thirties. I'm not an early bird at all. ;)
My mother always said she thought that was why people's eyesight went bad - so you couldn't see the wrinkles. Then magnifying mirrors were invented... Rats.
Everyone looks better when you photoshop their wrinkles away. What's the point of this?
It's not only Photoshop, but also make up, poses, lighting... Result is great :)
Yes...exactly. You can see in their poses, that wearing make-up and nice lingerie, gave them much more confidence.
It's a ton of photo shop and picture editing. The only thing that's even close to the original picture is the general shape of these women. No amount of makeup is going to make their skin that tight. I get why someone would want to have these done, but in reality it's just someone that is still insecure as an older adult. How do you get to that age and still feel so unhappy with your own body? We live in a time when people who do these things are heralded a being strong for doing these ridiculous things to feel beautiful. But then society does the same thing when an old person goes on America's got talent to do an "Old timey cabaret type dance" for fun. So society decides that everything is positive for some random reason and that all of these things people do are empowering. Well these photos are anything but, they are completely fake. I hear people rag on beautiful models and say that they're mostly airbrushed and fake. But when an older lady this it's empowering? This is the same thing period, people don't get to decide that what's empowering for one person is fake and unrealistic for another. This just goes to show how society is now collectively insecure and needs the world to shape around their brittle emotions.
sometimes people forget what they used to be what they used to look like. they look happy in there pin-up pictures why take it away from them. you live in the digital age you should be used to photoshop none of these women are nor have they seen there former selfs in this detail EVER! and its way more then photoshop there was a a very talented photographer behind all the pics photoshop can only do so much its not the miracle tool you think it is you still need a good shot with great lighting and centered to turn out the results after you edit the picture.
Agreed: This is totally idiotic. So the point is to make us think: "Wow, they are so old and ugly before they are artificially airbrushed!" If being airbrushed into a young body and face makes these women feel better, then I feel very sorry for how terrible they must feel about themselves in their day-to-day lives.
It's just to make them feel young again, and remind themselves age is a state of mind.
"Editing techniques" is definitely right...

There’s no age limit on looking hot!
Knix — an undergarment brand known for fashionable leakproof underwear — just released a lingerie campaign centered around women ages 50 to 81 in honor of International Women’s Day on Sunday.
“The inspiration for this video is pretty simple,” Knix CEO Joanna Griffiths says on Knix.com .
“Society as a whole has pretended that women over a certain age don’t exist. We want to celebrate women of all ages and really honor the fact that we’re beautiful at any age.”
More than 500 women answered a casting call put out by the brand for the video, and ultimately 13 women were selected including 75-year-old Elizabeth Robbins. Before her shoot, Robbins (wearing the V-neck bra and leakproof high-rise underwear ) told the brand, “I’m really looking forward to this. I’m ready to show off! Bring it on!” Among the other real woman models is self-described “Harley-riding grandma” Colleen Strong, 53, and business consultant Lorraine Weygman, 81.
The goal of the video — which shows the ladies dancing in bras and undies to Demi Lovato’s hit “Confident” — is to shine light on “a powerful population of women who have been historically ignored and underrepresented.”
“The thing is, celebrating women over a certain age shouldn’t be a crazy idea,” an editorial on the site reads. “And we don’t want it to be!”
The garments modeled are minimalist, everyday pieces that come in a range of sizes, including a bodysuit that goes up to XXL ( $88 ), their popular Evolution Bra that runs through size 42E ( $55 ) and — the hero piece — leakproof underwear that’s sleek, not sad.
The new lacy leakproof style ( $28 ) makes its debut on 54-year-old Mitzy Morris, a grandmother of eight.
The video — and its motivational message — is already garnering some famous fans.
Kristen Bell posted the video on Instagram , writing, “Well, I’ll be buying [Knix] from now on!”

Sex after 60? That’s a big yes. Many mature couples have better love lives than they did in their more youthful days. There are lots of reasons for this. They have deeper intimacy with partners, fewer distractions, no pregnancy concerns, and just plain more time to get busy. Plus, they have much more know-how and done-that than those young things on TV.
Around midlife -- age 45 or so -- new issues can temporarily dampen your love life, though. Sex hormones take a big dip. For women, menopause brings a plunge in estrogen and androgens. Your vaginal walls get thinner and drier. Men see a nosedive of testosterone and estrogen about the same time. This can make it difficult to get an erection (erectile dysfunction, or ED). Changes in the brain and your blood flow switch things up, too.
The main sexual problems for women tend to be trouble getting to orgasm, lack of desire, and vaginal dryness. Your vagina shortens and narrows with age. It doesn’t moisten itself as easily as before. This can cause pain when you have sex. Lubed condoms, water-based lubricating jelly, and vaginal moisturizers might do the trick. Your doctor might also prescribe vaginal estrogen, which comes as a cream, a pill or tablet, or an insert.
The main age-related sexual problem for men is erectile dysfunction, or ED. Erections don’t come -- and stay -- like they used to. Your penis might not get as hard or big as before. One of four ED drugs might be the answer. But they can have side effects. They can also clash with drugs that contain nitrates. Be wary of herbs and supplements that promise a fast fix. Always talk to your doctor before you try them.
Diabetes can cause ED for men, especially those with type 2. Poor blood sugar control can, over time, damage nerves and blood vessels that supply sex organs. Meds, a penis pump, or even a penile implant can help. Women with this condition can also have less feeling in their genitals. It also causes more vaginal yeast infections, which can irritate this area and make it difficult or unpleasant to have sex. But they’re easily treated.
A heart attack during sex might make for good TV, but it doesn’t often happen in real life. Heart disease does make your arteries narrow and harden, so your blood doesn’t flow as easily. You might find it hard to get aroused or have orgasms. But once it’s treated, your doctor likely will give you the green light. Be sure to tell your doctor about any chest pain, problems breathing, or symptoms that get worse.
Other medical conditions that can affect your sex life include weight gain, arthritis, chronic pain, bladder control problems, dementia, high blood pressure or cholesterol, side effects from meds, depression, and stroke. Also, surgery -- especially in sexual areas -- can affect your self-image and how you feel. Talk with each other about ways you can stay close. Put aside caregiving roles when you can to focus on being a partner.
You might not find it easy to talk about this subject with your doctor. The truth is, they might have trouble talking about it, too. They might be more likely to bring it up when it relates to other conditions. It can help to ask direct questions, such as: Can you recommend a sex counselor, and is this covered by Medicare? Do any of my meds cause sex problems? Would it help me to take estrogen? Is there an alternative to ED drugs?
If your primary doctor isn’t helpful, consider a sex therapist or other trained counselor. They’ll talk with you about your concerns and help come up with ways to meet your needs as a couple. Maybe the answer is more foreplay, or more direct stimulation. If a condition like arthritis makes it hard to enjoy sex, they can suggest new positions that are more comfortable and satisfying for you both.
Common sense and a creative spirit can spark new ways to enjoy sex. For example, if a flat surface doesn’t work for your knees, a new position or special furniture can offer another angle. If you have problems getting aroused, a vibrator can help get bloo
