Matryoshka Dolls
Brar K.Matryoshka dolls, also known as Russian nesting dolls, are a set of wooden dolls of decreasing size, placed one inside the other. They are a popular souvenir and a symbol of Russia.
The name "Matryoshka" is a diminutive form of the Russian female name Matryona, which means "little matron." The dolls are traditionally painted to resemble a Russian peasant woman, wearing a colorful sarafan (a long, loose-fitting dress).
The number of nested dolls in a set can vary, but it typically ranges from three to ten. The largest doll is the outer one, and inside it, there are smaller dolls, each nestled within the other.
