Modern interpretations of the holy book aside, the American OnlyFans and TikTok model known as Mary Magdalene has become famous for an incredible and extreme body transformation on which she has spent an estimated £73,000 in cosmetic surgery.
The money spent has changed Mary from a fairly normal-looking young person, to someone who almost died from a dangerous procedure. She has stunned fans by sharing photos of what she used to look like.
Mary now boasts the 'Barbie face' she asked for as well as the female genitalia she describes as "a female ball sack".
So how did she reach a point in which she is now known for having the world's most inflated genitalia and becoming a viral sensation on social media?
Mary, 25, has undergone an incredible amount of transformations since her first procedure at the age of 21.
From breast implants to fat transfers, a brow lift, nose jobs, veneers and liposuctions.
The excessive surgery almost killed her at one point, during an operation to enlarge her vagina.
She told The Sun: "I almost died during [the] procedure. I had to get two blood transfusions. The doctor said I was losing so much blood, and turning very pale. He thought I was going to die."
Cosmetic surgery is often controversial due to the potential health risks involved, but Mary insists that she likes her transformations, even if she sees no "end point" to her changes.
It is also controversial, in extreme circumstances, due to mental health concerns of the people involved.
"I'm gonna keep growing and growing. Until I die, I don't care. For me there's not an end point," she said.
Her life and transformations eventually earned her the boot from TikTok and her account was deleted for violating the site's content guidelines.
She said to the No Jumper podcast: "So basically there's this contraption that you use and it sucks your p***y and then it makes it very inflated, so I told the doctor that I just want it permanently to look like that."
American Mary had a difficult childhood in which she turned to sex and drugs from an early age after growing up in a heavily religious family.
She told No Jumper last year: "Twelve, 13, were the wildest, sh*ttiest years of my life."
"I was doing lines of cocaine. I was going to school drunk, this and that, in grade seven and eight."
By the age of just 17, she had turned to stripping and life as an escort, but now earns money with an OnlyFans account.
Her talents have also led her to a career of painting and she sells portraits of herself online.
