Mary Carey (born Mary Ellen Cook on June 15, 1980 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA) is an American porn star and politician . Her stage name comes from her passing resemblance to singer Mariah Carey .
Carey moved from Ohio to Florida when she was seven, and studied ballet and dance until she was 19 years old [2] . She graduated in 1998 from the Pine Crest School, a Fort Lauderdale private preparatory school. At 19, she joined her college dance team. After being part of the team for a year, she began working as an exotic dancer .
