2020 March - My painting "Lena" has become a part of the Satandard Chartered Bank's wonderful global art collection collection, which includes over 750 portraits. The work is displayed in a London office. Bank collects paintings from all over the world with great passion and understanding of art.

In these challenging times, where health and safety are a key priority, it’s important to remind ourselves of the beauty around us and how art can lift our spirits. This is why I am thrilled to be able to share with you the news that Standard Chartered Poland will be displaying a unique painting by Marta Zawadzka , a Warsaw-based, Polish artist. I have had the opportunity to view some of Martha’s work and enjoy the way she uses vibrant colour and free movement to explore the dynamics of modern life. This portrait of a young woman, created with the use of fluorescent paint and long-lasting dyes, will be displayed at our new office, The Warsaw HUB , where we will relocate later this year. Together with another piece by Marta, which has already been displayed in our head office in London, this painting has recently been added to Standard Chartered’s wonderful global art collection, which includes over 750 portraits displayed in 27 of offices across our global network.

It was a great distinction and honor for me to shere my professional experience in the art market which for centuries has been mainly represented by men and also about changes that are now taking place in the context of gender equality.

Marta Zawadzka is an artist based in Poland whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions in Singapore, Bahrain, and Monaco. She describes her artistic expression as being influenced by her professional background as an architect. Proportion, perspective, and classic divisions are important to Zawadzka. Her vibrant works are influenced by the impressionists, street art, the expressionists, and the beauty that surrounds her.
This series features paintings inspired by my travels, people I've met, their stories, sounds, colors, and everything that creates a city and it's spirit.
As a degree holder in Architecture, my eye immediately is attracted to the constructs of buildings. The geometry, the angles, the incorporation of tradition and history. I am fascinated by all cities
of the world and feel blessed to have visited many, giving me the real life experience in
capturing their energy.
Vibrant colors, textures, and lines allow me to express the dynamics of life and to catch the ephemeral spirit of the city and its architecture.

This series features very personal paintings. It's a return to my childhood, when I painted everywhere I could: walls, floors, furnitures... it was impossible to stop me.
That's how I built myself and my world. This is a story about perseverance and persistence.

Painting is a way to show the wonder of various aspects of existence, experiencing joy every day, discovering love and pleasure. In my works I try to dress up emotions in beautiful and harmonious forms, to show the depth of everyday life. My goal is to give life to colors and shapes.
I love working with color, they are a reflection of my personality.
Paintings are a bridge to my soul.
This series features paintings inspired by architecture constructions and urban landscapes, it keeps my connection with me - an architect. It's a reflection of my mood, the dance of colors is a dance of my emotions.
