Check in was slow and general staff interest was low, but rooms were adequate and clean and for Euro 45 one cannot expect a lot, especially not around Xmas time with lots of snow on offer. About 10 mins walk to ski lifts, but ample parking nearby hotel as well as easy access to the many restaurants and duty free shops. After a nightmare check-in that lasted over 1 hour as qualified staff were not available. Later on the manager appeared a lot more professional and set things right straight away. The hotel is on central square, entering Pas de la Casa, with easy parking in front of the hotel and garages nearby pay. Walking to restaurants and shops was just across the street, while to ski piste was a good 5 - 10 mins walk, but past all the shops and not too bad. Value of the hotel was excellent, onl. We took some coffee and a roll at the little coffee shop in the lobby, which was adequate. The big buffet breakfast was Euro 8 in the restaurant.
