Marketing & Content Intern

Marketing & Content Intern

Digital nomads. Work from anywhere

Company: HelmIQ

Company Description
HelmIQ is building an AI-native operating system for firms that manage deals and long-term relationships, helping investment teams streamline sourcing, follow-ups, meeting intelligence, and deal tracking. Originally developed to support internal advisory workflows, the platform is now tailored for private equity, venture capital, growth equity, private credit, investment banking, independent sponsors, and other relationship-driven teams in private markets. HelmIQ uses AI workflows, agents, and automation to reduce manual work and administrative effort. The mission is to help firms centralize institutional knowledge, move faster, and operate more efficiently so they can focus on higher-value activities.
Role Description
The Marketing & Content Intern is a remote, part-time internship (roughly 10 to 15 hours per week). This role helps HelmIQ grow its brand presence and reach investment and advisory teams in private markets. You will help create content, run our social and LinkedIn presence, and support demand-generation efforts as we scale. This is a hands-on role at an early-stage startup where your work ships directly and you see its impact quickly. You will work closely with the founder.
Responsibilities
- Draft and schedule content for LinkedIn and other channels that speaks to private markets and investment teams.
- Grow the HelmIQ company page audience and engagement from an early base.
- Help produce short-form content, product highlights, and customer-facing copy.
- Support lightweight demand-generation efforts: outreach lists, campaign copy, and tracking what works.
- Research the competitive landscape in CRM, sales tooling, and private-markets software.
- Turn product updates and customer wins into clear, compelling messaging.
Qualifications
- Strong writing skills. You can take a technical idea and make it clear and interesting to a business audience.
- Genuine interest in B2B software, fintech, or private markets. You do not need prior experience, just curiosity about how these firms work.
- Comfortable with social platforms, especially LinkedIn, and a sense for what makes content perform.
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable owning projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Any experience with content tools, basic design (Canva, Figma), analytics, or email marketing is a plus, not a requirement.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field (for example Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline).
Details
This is an unpaid internship, ideal for a student seeking hands-on startup experience and a strong reference. Course credit possible where your program allows. Fully remote with flexible hours.
