It's not the first time the actress has stripped off on screen
Marion Cotillard embraces full frontal nudity in the trailer for her latest film, thriller Les Fantômes d'Ismael.
In a role not for the faint-hearted, Marion bravely stripped off to reveal all in the arty French movie, which also stars James Bond's Mathieu Amalric.
One particularly racy scene sees Marion slowly removing her dressing gown to reveal to her former lover she's wearing absolutely nothing underneath.
The actress, who gave birth to her second child with her partner Guillaume Canet back in May, looked stunning as she showed off her natural figure on screen.
The French film, which translates to 'Ismael's Ghosts', opened the 70th Cannes Film Festival in May this year.
Les Fantômes d'Ismael tells the story of a missing wife reappearing into her husband's life after being pronounced dead when she disappeared for twenty years.
Marion features as the former lover of Mathieu Amalric, who starred in 2008's Quantom of Solace, in the soon to be released flick.
The film, which also stars Charlotte Gainsbourg as the new woman in Mathieu's life, sees the lead couple adjusting to life together after they are reunited following years apart.
In one raunchy scene, Marion removes all of her clothes seemingly to seduce Mathieu, as he sits silently watching her on a chair.
The movie by French auteur Aarnaud Desplechin, has received a mixed response from its critics.
"As phony emotional showcases go, this one’s full of unintentionally comedic melodrama," reported Variety , following the Cannes showcase in May.
While the Guardian gave it two stars, despite its 'classy cast.'
Her latest movie is not the first time Marion has appeared naked on screen.
Starring in Allied alongside Brad Pitt in 2016, the actress bravely flashed the flesh again.
She described the moment as a 'beautiful love scene' but told a critic: "Let’s imagine you’re with your wife, in bed or anywhere, like here and then all those people are watching, cameras, like 50 people are watching. Do you still find it sexy?"
Marion's on screen chemistry with Brad, caused rumours they were having an affair following the breakdown in the actor's marriage to Angelina Jolie - something she vehemently denied.
At the time Marion insisted she wasn't offended by the Brad Pitt affair rumours.
"I never take anything personally when it doesn't concern me," she said.
"So, I didn't take it personally because I had nothing to do with those rumours or situation."

French actor Guillaume Canet has blasted Instagram for removing childhood photo of wife Marion Cotillard on the beach for 'infantile nudity'.
The actress, 45, had posted the picture, which depicted her topless while enjoying a day on the beach as a young girl, to thank her fans for their good wishes on her birthday.
The photograph went on to be removed from social media for 'infantile nudity', with Guillaume, 47, venting his grievances on his own Instagram account .
He said it 'made no sense' to remove this picture when Instagram let influencers share sexy pictures of themselves on the platform, suggesting they were being left alone because they were big earners and paid the social media giant.
Mailonline has contacted Instagram for comment.

The photograph, which Marion shared with fans to celebrate her birthday and thank them for wellwishes, shows the actress topless while on the beach as a child
In the frustated post, he wrote: 'Seriously, Instagram. Did you see the picture you censored? It's crazy!
'We can barely see her shoulders. What's next?'
He went on to suggest that Instagram let sponsored accounts alone because they earned more money, writing: 'There's a lot of talk about accounts of naked girls showing their a**.
'Is it because they are sponsored content that pay you to keep your mouth shut?'
Guillaume shared a screenshot of the Instagram message showing the image (bottom right) had been removed for 'infantile nudity'
He continued: 'So how much should Marion Cotillard give you so she can share a childhood picture on her birthday? Can we only share pictures of kids wearing winter coats?
'If that's the case, you're going to have to tell your earners to put their knickers back on.'
Guillaume's angry post comes after Marion shared her own surprise online after her picture was removed from the platform.
In an Instagram post sharing a screenshot of the notification of post removal, she wrote: '15 days after I posted this picture of me as a kid, to thank people for sending me birthday wishes.... THIS happened.
In a strongly-worded message written in French on Instagram, Canet criticised the decision to censor the picture and asked why other accounts were allowed to share more suggestive content
She added: 'What a wonderful society we live in, Hasta la vista Instagram.'
Cotillard and Canet have been together since 2007 after meeting in 1997, when he was married to German actress Diane Kruger.
They filmed together for the Love Me If You Dare movie in 2003 and later in the The Last Flight in 2009.
The pair have two children, Marcel, born in 2011 and Louise, born in 2017 and live in Paris with their family.
