Mariana Cordoba is a Colombian American abstract artist from Miami, FL. She fell into painting because colors and textures brought an emotional escape. Creating art brings her the most happiness. She paints because creating the perfect piece, one that shows clearly what she is thinking makes her feel joy. She lives in the moment. She grabs inspiration from everyday people and figures with interesting textures, depth, or color. Once she internalizes it, she goes and paints it with enthusiasm. She is a fan of mixed media. She loves to explore new mediums. Mariana practices silkscreen and photography. Mariana graduated from the University of Miami in December 2019 with a degree in Studio Art. She received her Master’s in Real Estate and Urbanism (MRED+U) at the University of Miami in December 2021.
