Maria Ozawa has finally found love with Pinoy chef and businessman Jose Sarasola.
As they get ready to celebrate their second anniversary as a couple next month, Maria Ozawa and boyfriend Jose Sarasola look nothing short of a picture perfect pair as they share a love for both traveling in and outside the Philippines. Former Pinoy Fear Factor contestant Jose Sarasola is now a chef and the owner of a sports bar. He was part of the cast of the Philippine remake of the Korean series Only You starring Angel Locsin and Sam Milby.
Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano’s upcoming movie will be directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano’s fans were delighted to see photos of the pair for their upcoming film Alone/Together . Helmed by Antoinette Jadaone, the movie is about two students with opposite personalities. Liza’s character is an “overachiever” who finished Magna Cum Laude at the University of the Philippines and is hoping to become a museum director at famous museums like The Met and The Louvre while Enrique’s character is the opposite having described as “umuulan ng singko” and his only goal is to survive college and graduate.

Long-distance ang estado ng relasyon ngayon ng Japanese actress na si Maria Ozawa, 34, at ang chef na si Jose Sarasola, 33.
Nasa Japan ngayon si Maria, habang nandito sa Pilipinas si Jose.
Umuwi muna kasi si Maria sa Japan noong April para bisitahin ang kanyang pamilya roon.
Sa Pilipinas naabutan ng quarantine si Maria kaya hindi siya agad nakauwi sa Japan.
“Mid-March, I think, I was still in the Philippines.
"And then, I was really worried about my family and friends here in Japan.
“And I was talking to Jose, I was asking him, ‘Is it okay if I fly back to my country and see…’
"My dad was really worried," l ahad ni Maria sa Facebook Live ng RX 93.1 FM Radio station noong May 27, Miyerkules.
Nababahala raw ang ama niya kapag napapanood ang balita tungkol sa kondisyon dito sa Pilipinas.
“They’re, like, saying, ‘If you can do anything before the airports shut down, can you just come back once and see?’”
Kahit daw sumama sa kanya si Jose ay siguradong hindi papapasukin ang nobyo pagdating sa Japan.
“I think he cannot come to Japan because he’s not a citizen,” sabi ng Japanese-Canadian actress-entrepreneur.
“I myself, I don’t think I can come back to the Philippines yet, unless the lockdown is lifted, because I’m not a Filipino citizen.
“I’m just waiting for the lockdown to be lifted and all the airplanes be back to normal.”
Pero kahit daw magbukas ang operasyon ng mga airport, inaalala raw ni Maria na magiging istrikto ang airport protocols, na naranasan niya mismo nang bumalik siya sa Japan.
As of June 2, may limited operation na ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport, at may mga back-and-forth flights sa ilang bansa gaya ng China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, at Singapore.
Unang nakilala si Jose nang sumali siya sa ABS-CBN reality show na Pinoy Fear Factor noong 2008.
Si Maria naman ay nagkapangalan dahil sa Japanese adult films na ginawa niya noon.
Kaya tatlong taon na sila, at going strong.
Dahil magkalayo, napagtanto raw ni Maria ang hirap ng long-distance relationship o LDR.
“It definitely made me realize LDR couples are something else. It’s really hard.
“I've never done LDR before, and I never thought that I could do it, because it’s too sad.”
Pero bunsod ng kasalukuyang sitwasyon, walang magagawa si Maria kundi tiyagain ang LDR nila ni Jose.
“But then, now we’re trying to make it work.
“We video-call, like, every day. Before we sleep, text each other, where we are, stuff like that...
“Communication is always the key,” sabi ni Maria.
Kapansin-pansin ang kilig ni Maria sa tuwing magkukuwento tungkol sa relasyon nila ni Jose.
“I never thought I would find a boyfriend in the Philippines," pag-amin niya.
“And then, now, we’re on our third year and now we’re doing LDR, like, you can never predict who your life’s gonna be [with]."
Pero aminado siyang malaking hamon daw ang LDR, lalo pa’t nasanay siyang laging kasama si Jose.
“I really didn’t how it was like, because I never tried it.
"But now, it’s no joke," diin ng aktres.
Nausisa rin si Maria kung anong klase siyang kasintahan.
“I think I’m a cool girlfriend," sagot niya.
"I’m not the type that checks their phones or tell them to go home immediately, as long as they tell what they’re doing or who they’re gonna be or where they’re going.
“I’m not a nosy type. I think I don’t want them to do that to me also.”
Nakikita ba niya ang sarili na pamilyado na pagkatapos ng sampung taon?
Sabi ni Maria, “I’m 34, so I’ll be 44.
"I think I could imagine to myself having a family ten years from now."
Kailan siya magiging handa para magpakasal?
“That’s really hard question because I was never really…
"I’d rather work, I’d rather go out and make my own money.
“I have a perfect boyfriend, but it’s not, like, I want to settle right now. I still wanna work.
“Before 40. Maybe I’ll give myself three to four more years,” saad niya.
Paano nagsimula ang pagkakamabutihan nila ni Jose?
Lahad niya, “We met at his bar in BF Parañaque.
"Maybe it was, like, three or four years ago.
"My friend I met through my lounge, her husband is close with Jose.
“So one day, she invited me to Jose’s bar.
“We went to his bar and then he was there.
“First, we were just, like, friends, like, I’ll go to his bar, and I wanted to drink.
“From there, I don’t know… it’s, like, [we] decided to watch a movie, like, dinner…” nangingiting kuwento ni Maria.
Dumating si Maria sa Pilipinas noong 2015.
Nagbida siya sa 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry na Nilalang , katambal si Cesar Montano.
Mula noon ay namalagi na siya sa Pilipinas.
Mayroon siyang dalawang lounges dito bilang negosyo.

“Ito naman, it’s just work. There are worst things in life na ginagawa ng mga tao compared dun sa past niya. Yun nga, as I said, hindi issue yung past sa akin as long as tanggap siya ng family ko, ng friends ko,” he said.
Sarasola even described her as very humble and friendly and that’s what matters to him. They are now in a relationship for more than 3 years.

Meanwhile, according to the report from PEP’s report, when Sarasola had been asked if he thinks Ozawa is the one for him, he said that they have not yet reached that mindset where they would consider marrying each other. For now, they’re just enjoying each other and traveling together.
As of now, Ozawa is in Japan to run her business while Sarasola stayed in the Philippines. Their long distance relationship is hard for them, but at the same time it was the best for them.
