The Mighty Ducks film franchise is a trilogy of live-action films created by Steven Brill. The plot of this film revolves around a hockey team who sticks by each other through thick and thin. Three parts of this film were released in 1992, 1994 and 1996. The cast of this film includes Emilio Estevez, Lane Smith, Joshua Jackson, Kenan Thompson and Jeffrey Nordling among others. Emilio played the character of Gordan in the film who is an arrogant defence lawyer. He gets served with a community service notice wherein he has to teach a group of school students hockey. Emilio also starred in The West Wing, Two And A Half Men and Bobby .
Joshua played the character of Charlie in the film. He is very different from the rest of his teammates. He never cheats during the game and stands up to Gordan and his misbehaviour. Gordan later ages on to become a father figure to him.
Elden played the role of Fulton in the movie. He has to reluctantly join the team because he smashes a hickey puck through the glass of Gordan’s car. His other notables projects are Daredevils and Jessica Jones .
Shaun Weiss essayed the character of Greg in the film. Greg is a huge foodie and fears getting hit by the pucks. Gordan helps him overcome his fear by practising with him. Shaun also started in Heavyweights and Mr Rhodes .
Marguerite Moreau played the role of Connie Moreau. Connie is the only female player in the team and she is very proud of it. Her teammates also refer to her as The Velvet Hammer. Marguerite also starred in Boy Meets World, Blossom and Amazing Grace.

They're one of the most beloved casts of the nineties.
And on Sunday, the stars of D2: The Mighty Ducks came together once again, reuniting for the film's 20th anniversary.
The actors reminisced about their former roles over a BBQ in Brentwood and even recreated the famous 'Flying V' on a tennis court, which was snapped up and tweeted by Marguerite Moreau.

'Flying V! #mightyducks reunion,' was the caption of the image taken by the actress' husband, Christopher Redman.
That was only one of the many pictures posted of the reunion which brought the cast together for the first time in two decades.
Marguerite, 37, who played Connie Moreau, also excited her fans by posting a photo with Garrett Henson, the actor who played the part of her love interest, Guy Germaine, in the trilogy.
'Just saying.... #nofilter #connieandguy #mightyducks #20yearreunion,' she said with the intimate snap.

Another image captured a group hug between Mike Vitar (Luis Mendoza), Henson, Marguerie, Vincent Larusso (Adam Banks), Aaron Lohr (Dean Portman), and Scott Whyte (Gunnar Stahl).
In a more playful shot, Shaun Weiss, who played Greg 'Goldie' Goldberg, posed with a poster of his younger self in character sporting a hockey mask.
He's certainly grown up since the film, as he revealed a noticeably slimmer frame than his former self.

The day prior, the actress notified her fans of the pending reunion by posting a picture of a Mighty Ducks-branded duck commander, saying, 'Calling all brethren ..... Tomorrow Ducks reunite first time in 20 years #bbq #ducksflytogether #themightyducks #D2 #D3.'
Unfortunately, Joshua Jackson, who took on the role of the team's captain Charlie Conway, Kenan Thompson, who played D2's star player Russ Tyler, and Emilio Estevez, who played captain Gordon Bombay who led Team USA to victory, weren't spotted at the reunion.
The Mighty Ducks was initially released in 1994 and tells the comical story of a coed kids' hockey team, Team USA.

After suffering from an embarrassing loss against Team Iceland, Team USA regroups to defeat their rival country and win the Junior Goodwill Games.
