The Australian beauty took to the beach for the jaw-dropping photos and stood with her back to the picturesque ocean.
In one snap, Margot flaunted her incredible figure in nothing but a pair of tie-dye briefs with a matching fabric draped over her shoulders.
The gorgeous star ensured she didn’t completely expose her assets as she covered her chest with her arm for the sultry picture.
I want to be one of those voices in the conversation making decisions
In the shoot, the 27-year-old showed off her sun-kissed tan and completed the relaxed beach vibe by styling her locks into messy waves.
The Wolf Of Wall Street actress oozed confidence on the cover of Elle's February issue as she gazed into the camera with her piercing blue eyes taking centre-stage.
Margot’s recent challenge saw her take on the disgraced former figure skater Tonya Harding in the biographical film I, Tonya.
Talking about playing the character in the critically acclaimed movie, the stunner told the magazine: “Playing Tonya, who’s very much alive and is widely documented, can be more intimidating.”
But fans of the BAFTA-nominated star will be disappointed to learn Margot is planning on spending more time behind the camera as she wants to get involved with directing.
She divulged: “I still love acting. But I’ve spent the last 10 years on a film set, and I realised that if I am pouring my heart and soul into a film, I want to be one of those voices in the conversation making decisions.”
The full interview with Margot Robbie can be found in Elle Magazine ’s February issue on sale January 16.

The star was “apprehensive” about going nude, but when Martin Scorsese offered to tone down the scene, she refused.
Margot Robbie has revealed why she insisted on stripping completely naked for a scene in the Wolf of Wall Street.
The Australian actress, 32, made her big break in the 2013 Martin Scorsese film, starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.
And in a resurfaced interview, Robbie explained why she took part in the explicit full-frontal scene.
She told the UK’s Daily Telegraph in 2014 that she was “apprehensive” about going nude, but when Scorsese offered to tone down the scene, she refused.
“I think nudity for the sake of nudity is shameful. If they’ve put it in just so that a girl gets her top off, then that’s disgusting. And you can always tell,” the former Neighbours star said.
“But I also think it’s disgusting when someone would have got naked in real life, in the film they conveniently leave their bra on, or hold up the bed sheet. Seeing someone being choreographed into being covered up irritates me just as much.
“The whole point of [her character] Naomi is that her body is her only form of currency in this world.
“So when Marty [Scorsese] was trying to help me out, and said in the scene where she seduces Jordan perhaps I could have a robe on, I said she wouldn’t. She has to be naked. She’s laying her cards on the table.”
In a separate interview, Robbie that there were up to 30 people in the room as the scene was filmed.
“All men,” she told Porter. “And for 17 hours I’m pretending to be touching myself. It’s just a very weird thing and you have to bury the embarrassment and absurdity, really deep, and fully commit.”
Robbie went on to star in Suicide Squad, Bombshell, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and I, Tonya, the latter of which led to her Oscar nomination for Best Actress.
It’s rare for Marvel to recast a character but the movie studio has just recruited a massive star for exactly that reason.
Even the greatest love story of all time can get an update, and this breezy new movie does it with a fun twist.
Pierce Brosnan has revealed the comment he made to a famed director that possibly cost him one of the biggest movie roles.

Margot Robbie insisted on stripping completely naked to make her The Wolf of Wall Street sex scene more realistic.
The 32-year-old Australian actress famously played Naomi Lapaglia alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the 2013 Hollywood blockbuster.
Martin Scorses' movie helped catapult Margot to fame as she was just starting out at the time.
The film is based on the story of controversial stockbroker Jordan Belfor (Leonardo DiCaprio) with Margot playing Belfort's second wife in the film.
Her role featured numerous sexual scenes, including a full-frontal nude scene, and the blonde bombshell has admitted she was apprehensive about the scenes being immortalised on the internet.
However, when director Scorsese suggested diluting things for her comfort, she made the brave decision to turn him down.
Speaking to The Telegraph in 2014, Margot, who previously appeared in Neighbours, said: "I think nudity for the sake of nudity is shameful.
"If they've put it in just so that a girl gets her top off, then that's disgusting. And you can always tell.
"But I also think it's disgusting when someone would have got naked in real life, in the film they conveniently leave their bra on, or hold up the bed sheet. Seeing someone being choreographed into being covered up irritates me just as much."
"The whole point of Naomi is that her body is her only form of currency in this world. So when Marty [Scorsese] was trying to help me out, and said in the scene where she seduces Jordan perhaps I could have a robe on, I said she wouldn't. She has to be naked. She's laying her cards on the table."
Despite being committed to the role, Margot has revealed in the past that she did find filming the sex scene difficult and embarrassing.
She told Porter in 2018: "It doesn't come across when you're watching the movie, but in reality we're in a tiny bedroom with 30 crew crammed in.
"All men. And for 17 hours I'm pretending to be touching myself. It's just a very weird thing and you have to bury the embarrassment and absurdity, really deep, and fully commit."
