Privacy Policy

MALAS TOV provides MapStory (Android package trips.map.story283) as a free application. This policy explains how information is handled when you use MapStory.

Local journal data

MapStory stores your places, travel stories, selected photos, profile name, ratings and tags locally in an on-device database and the app's private files directory. There is no account registration. Your journal content is not uploaded to the developer. You can remove local app data through Android settings or uninstall the app.

Map imagery and network requests

MapStory downloads map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Tile requests contain the coordinates of the map area being viewed and the technical network information needed to deliver the tiles, including an IP address. They do not contain your journal content or profile name. The map service handles these requests under its own privacy practices. MapStory does not use advertising or tracking SDKs, and does not collect precise device location.

Photos

The Android system photo picker grants access to the individual image you choose. MapStory does not request broad access to your photo library.

Children and audience

MapStory is intended for users aged 13 and older. MALAS TOV does not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. The app does not transmit journal content to MALAS TOV.

Contact and security

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond to your request. You may request deletion of that correspondence at info@malas.sbs. Protect access to your device to keep your local journal private. No security method can guarantee absolute protection.

Changes

We may update this policy by publishing a revised policy and effective date.
