Manyu: CPDM Campaign Strategy Yielding Fruits

Minister Victor MENGOT, CPDM Campaign Coordinator for Manyu made the revelation few days after launching the CPDM Divisional campaigns in Manyu.

Ten days into the campaigns for the 2018 Presidential Elections, the Head of the Manyu Divisional Campaign team, Minister Victor Mengot Arrey Nkongho, has revealed that they are receiving very positive feedback from the campaign teams in the field carrying out door-to-door campaign in Manyu Division.

Minister Mengot made the revelation few days after launching campaign. “It is true that many of our people have been displaced due to threats and intimidation from the minority secessionists. However, there is ongoing mobilization of CPDM militants and sympathizers from the Section Executives, through Sub-sections to branches and cells to ensure that elections not only effectively hold in all four Council areas of Manyu Division but result in our candidate being overwhelmingly elected at the close of polling on October 7”. Minister Mengot revealed.

Mengot noted that due to the present socio-security challenges, fraught with threats and intimidation from unseen faces, they have been obliged them to duel more on door-to-door, mouth-to-ear and the utilization of the social media to reach voters.  

The Manyu political flag bearer during the campaign launch extended an olive branch to his disgruntled brothers and sisters of Manyu involved in the ongoing Anglophone crisis. He has been assuring the population of a peaceful election in Manyu Division, reiterating that enough security has been provided by the State and its institutions in charge of organizing the elections.
