A rapid growth of our Company has created a new role for a Manager of Data Engineering. The Manager of Data Engineering will work in a Data Rich environment and will be tasked with building & shaping our data engineering team to help deploy cutting edge data acquisition and management techniques in a number of different areas of the company.

Work is possible from any region, but in the time zone of Moscow as we are fully remote.

The Manager of Data Engineering will be responsible for:

- Building the Company’s Big Data Lake;

- Migrating legacy technology to new infrastructure;

- Pushing and optimizing various data-related cutting-edge technologies;

- Hiring, mentoring and managing data engineering team;

- Acting as evangelist for key stakeholders to promote data-driven culture;

- Infrastructure Management around the large volumes of data being collected.

Requirements:

- T-SQL/SQL - expert level

- PowerBI – expert level

- ETL – expert level

- OLAP cubes

- Dashboards and reporting

- Apache Airflow

- SQL Server

- Python

- Databricks (good to have)

- Spark

- We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years as Data engineer / BI and a proven team management experience.
