We’re only two days into 2014 and already a viable candidate for Most Fascinating Person of 2014 is “The Guy With Two Penises,” who has become a Reddit sensation over the last 24-hours. Last night, he held an intriguing AMA that covered candidly a wide range of sexual, anatomonical and personal questions about the condition he was born with known as “diphallia.” Here are 10 of the more fascinating things you’ll learn from “DoubleDickDude” about life with two penises.
1. High school was, uh, hard When asked if there ever was a time when he wished he had but one penis, DoubleDickDude replied “high school.” And when a Reddit user tried to cheer him up by saying, “But you were the baddest motherfucker in the locker room, right?” he said, “When it first got out, yeah. But then it became a joke and guys immediately thought i was gay, because . . . you know I guess I chose to have two cocks.”
2. He’s happy now happy with his anatomy Has he ever considered having one of his penises removed? “In my mid teens, yeah, ” he said. “Now, hell no.”
3. Most of the women and men he’s been with enjoy the extra penis “I’ve been in a serious relationship with a girl and a guy for a while now,” he said. “I call it monogamous because we are exclusive. She enjoys it. The three girls before her enjoyed it. It’s sort of made a few run screaming in the past. Usually the ones I get to know well before we date are cool with it. I don’t talk about it otherwise. Like, if I’m not going to have sex with you, you won’t know I’ve got two dicks. LOL”
4. Yes, he has inserted both into “the same hole” Asking what it’s like to have both in the same orifice, he answered, “Snug? It’s nice. I like hearing the moaning from the person I’m squeezed inside of.” Regarding one particular woman, he said, “She complained later, though, that her cervix was poking out and that her hole was huge. She kept coming back for more at least for three months. LOL”
5. He avoids public restrooms “If I do use [a public restroom], I try to use the stall and not a wall urinal,” he said. “There’ve been times where I’ve had to use the urinal and because I have one muscle that controls my piss, it lets the stream flow out both my dicks. So unless I pinch off one of them it comes out both and that doesn’t feel good. So I have to take both out to pee. Yeah I’ve gotten stares and even had a few guys at various times go, holy shit .”
6. Both penises pee at the same time . . . “It’s not tricky,” he said. “I’ve pee’d from both all my life. ;)”
7. . . . But they usually get erect at different times “It always starts that way,” he said. “The left one starts to get semi first, then stops at a certain point. Right one then gets rock hard, and if I’m horny enough the left one will continue to stiffen up and get bigger. Once or twice, with a cock ring on, they’ve both been equally rock hard.”
8. They both “cum” at the same time, though not at the same speed “If you’re working on the left one you have to suck it out,” he said. “The right one launches every time. ;)”
9. Not all of his sexual partners believe both penises are real “[The reaction] varies from girl to girl,” he said. “Some have been like, wow . Some have been like, that’s fake ! Some have freaked out like, called me names. Most are pretty curious, but i dont have casual sex anymore. . . [In the past] girls were nervous and some changed their mind at the last minute. Dudes never change their mind; they always want it even if they’re freaked out a little. LOL”
10. Yes, he does have a favorite penis “The right one,” he said. “The left one has a grudge against me for it too. LOL”

Reddit’s Ask Me Anything (AMA) section is one of the most unique functions the website offers where users can congregate to talk about, well, anything. When Reddit user “DoubleD**kDude” posted “I am the guy with two penises. AMA,” not surprisingly, the Internet came running for an explanation of this medical anomaly.
While the anonymous user kept his name out for obvious reasons, he did share that both are fully functioning and work independently from each other. Translation: both penises can achieve an erection and climax on their own.
“Both are 100 percent functional. It is Diphallia, not an absorbed twin,” he wrote in the post. “It's not genetic or inherited. I am bisexual and in a committed relationship with a man and a woman, but have permission to stray only with James Franco.”
That’s not to say he was free from any setbacks.
Reddit user 10ac: “Are there any possible complications you have to watch for?”
Reddit user DoubleD**kDude: “My prostate gets inflamed if I dont ejaculate enough. I'm probably the only guy with a legit reason to orgasm at least once every day or two days. My prostate gets stimulation from both cocks and creates a lot of seminal fluid. So when i cum it has to be squeezed every few days to get all the excess out. otherwise it feels bloated and painful.”
Diphallia , also known as penile duplication, may seem like it belongs in a science fiction novel, but health care professionals are well aware of this condition. Affecting one out of every five and a half million boys in the United States, diphallia is a rare medical condition with around 100 confirmed reports since Johannes Jacob Wecker discovered it back in 1609.
Experts are unsure of what causes diphallia, but speculate it occurs after the 23rd day of gestation following an injury, chemical stress, or a gene malfunction. Unfortunately, men born with this condition tend to die at an earlier age due to infections and renal failure.
Although both penises are able to function on their own, men with diphallia are usually sterile due to congenital defects. These men are also at a higher risk of developing spina bifida, a condition that results in malformation of the vertebrae designed to protect the spinal cord.

A man with two penises has been speaking to Newsbeat about living with the condition.
Known only as Triple D, the 25-year-old from the east coast of America claims to have had 1,000 sexual partners.
He suffers from diphallia which is a rare condition where a male is born with two penises.
According to a report by the BMJ - the global healthcare knowledge provider - one-in-five million males in the world are born this way.
"My life would never ever be the same again if I allowed my identity to be revealed," he tells Newsbeat. We agreed to keep his identity anonymous.
He says he doesn't want to become "a butt of a joke" and a "novelty".
"If I wasn't going to have sex with you then you wouldn't know I had two [penises]. It's rare that anyone does know."
Growing up Triple D says he was told he was "special and unique" by his parents.
He remembers them sitting him down and making it clear: "Don't play doctor with anyone else, don't take your pants off in front of other people."
He says he managed to keep his condition hidden from friends but when schoolmates found out in high school he went through a hard time.
"Initially I didn't want people in school to know because I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings," he explains.
"I didn't want others guys to be jealous or feel bad that they didn't have two. It was never put into my head they might hate me because I had two or they might think I was weird.
"It didn't get out until a girl I'd been seeing had been interested in going all the way. I hadn't thought about it and I was trying to avoid it. It wasn't until then that I thought she might not be able to handle this - it might freak her."
Aged 16, he says he considered having one of his penises removed.
"Girls were starting to stare at my crotch a lot more - I denied it.
"I wish my parents would have made it clear to me that people make fun of things that they don't understand.
"I've always had these, this is my life. When I look down, what I see looks normal to me."
Questioned about why he's willing to talk about his two penises but not willing to reveal his identity he says: "Everywhere I would go, people would know who I was. They would have expectations."
Triple D has self-published a book called Double Header: My Life With Two Penises in which he gives a full account of coping with diphallia.
He claims to have had more than 1,000 sexual partners.
"I wanted to do whatever I wanted to do with whoever I wanted to do it with - whoever would do it with me.
"It was owning it, it was being me and accepting it and putting them to use. There were situations where people would freak out."
Triple D describes himself as "very much bisexual" and has been in polyamorous relationships - sexual or romantic relationships that are not exclusive to one person.
He says his longest relationship was with a couple.
Everyday things like buying underwear are an issue - so he tells Newsbeat he doesn't wear any.
Both penises are fully functioning. "I can urinate and ejaculate through both at the same time," he explains.
"Entering into the porn industry has crossed my mind. I knew people who worked in the sex industry and some of them knew what I had, some had heard what I had.
"Nobody had seen it. I remember thinking about it but I don't want to become a novelty. My dignity is priceless."
Newsbeat has seen photographs which support Triple D's claims but cannot independently verify his identity.

A BOY was born with two fully functional penises.
The unnamed boy is one-in-six-million with the incredibly rare birth defect, doctors said.
Only 100 cases have been described in literature in 400 years.
Incredibly the youngster, from Uzbekistan, lived with the deformity for seven years before surgery was finally undertaken.
Describing the medical case in a journal, the doctors said the boy had been referred to their clinic with “abnormal” genitals.
They wrote: “Initial physical examination identified two completely developed penises with common shaft skin.”
The boy urinated from both penises, meaning he had two separate urethras.
Both penises each had erectile tissue, but the doctors did not report whether both would be able to become erect.
They learned the boy had been born without an anus, a condition called anal atresia that affects up to one in 1,500 babies.
While this was fixed immediately after birth, it is not clear why it had taken seven years for the child to have his dual penis sorted out.
The condition is medically called diphallia, and it can also cause problems with the testicles, digestive and urinary tract, according to Healthline.
Medics said the rare phenomenon posed “a great surgical challenge”.
During the operation, the left penis was carefully removed and his urine stream had to be redirected into his right side only, MailOnline reported.
A catheter was fitted for 21 days as the boy recovered in hospital.
Two months later, the boy had recovered and was able to use the toilet as normal.
Saidanvar Agzamkhodjayev and his colleagues wrote: “Although the anomaly is known from the XVII [17th] century, there are only just over 100 cases reported so far.
The case study is detailed in Urology Case Reports .
Last year, a boy with three penises - called triphallia - was reported by medics in Iraq.
In this case, neither of the extra penises were able to function and only one had a glans (head).
The problem had not been spotted or fixed at birth, only
