Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Malay with English Voice Recording Specialist at DatoviaPlayHouse. The role involves recording high-quality Malay and English audio for various use cases, including AI training data, voice prompts, educational content, and customer-facing materials. Day-to-day tasks include following detailed scripts, maintaining clear pronunciation and tone, ensuring consistent audio quality, and meeting project-specific guidelines and deadlines. The specialist will collaborate with project managers and quality reviewers, provide re-recordings when needed, and adhere to technical and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
* Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with project teams and follow instructions accurately.
* Proficiency in Translation and English Teaching to support bilingual content creation and ensure linguistic accuracy in Malay and English.
* Experience in Training or coaching environments, demonstrating the ability to learn new recording protocols and adapt to feedback.
* Native or near-native fluency in Malay and high proficiency in English, with clear diction and neutral, understandable accent.
* Access to a quiet recording environment, reliable internet connection, and basic familiarity with audio recording tools or software.
* Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven setting.
* Previous experience in voice-over, dubbing, podcasting, or audio production is an advantage.
