Making MimbleWimble project? Be ready they call you a scammer.

Before we start, let's fresh in mind what is open-source project. What is written in wikipedia?

Open-source software (OSS) is a type of computer software in which source code is released under a license in which the copyright holder grants users the rights to study, change, and distribute the software to anyone and for any purpose.Open-source software may be developed in a collaborative public manner. Open-source software is a prominent example of open collaboration.
Open-source software development
can bring in diverse perspectives beyond those of a single company.

And who is a scammer? Ok, Google.

A person who commits fraud or participates in a dishonest scheme.

Imagine you want to make your own crypto project and you really like (and that's a good choice) MimbleWimble protocol. You succeded and want to share your project with other people. You did the great job, you make for it free, with no purposes of personal enrichment. What projects we are talking about?

  1. Grimm - fork of first Beam implementation with no dev rewards. Redesigned wallet, new Confidential Parallel-chains architecture that provides the ability to create your own independed mimblewimble blockchain for any project or product, the first mimblewimble project that implemented working confidential tokens.
  2. Epic Cash - is a privacy coin based on mimblewimble that follows the conservative supply policy of Bitcoin, with a max supply of 21M. Using RandomX on CPU and Progpow on GPU in harmony enables anyone to mine.
  3. Bitgrin - based on MimbleWimble, Bitcoin economic model, own GUI wallet.
  4. Your project!

Finally you did it! And then... Another MW project dev (well known in crypto)... calls you... a scammer.

If David or others don't name you publicly a scammer, they ban you or kick from MimbleWimble public channel:

Are you sure these gents are related with any MW projects? May be just a guys with bad manners?

No he they are. David Burkett - Grin developer.

Guy Corem - Board Director of Beam Foundation (remember this word).

Ok, may be Beam project (from which Grimm was forked) is not open-source and he has the rights to claim on you? No.

Ok, may be Grimm is just a fork of Beam? No and you can check what they implemented already - https://github.com/freenetcoder/grimm/commit/4d2c7ea1fa93f597cc874e91cf5d54c10088131a

This is a working open-source code of Confidential Parallel-chains architecture and working confidential tokens that provides the ability to create your own independed mimblewimble blockchain for any project or product.

Here is a video how to do it easily - https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=GsTWHpGgCTA&app=desktop

According to Grimm devs - they have a lot of to do in their pipeline.

Bitgrin did the first "Grin" GUI wallet called Kingfish.

Now they are working for traceability issue...

And BitGrinPay:

Why David called other MW projects except of Beam scam?

I am not a dev of any crypto project or big holder of any independent MW projects (like Grimm, Epic, Bitgrin). My personal (!) opinion - donations. And not to have any competition with anybody.

And what about Beam? Money talks. Special love.

One thing to add - David wrote he would excuse for his words if Grimm or any other MW project will do smth unique.

Well, David, it's time to do it publicly. "Our projects take different approaches", but let's start collaborating.

This article was written with the whole respect to professional skills of David, MW, Grin and Beam projects.

I am sure Epic Cash and Bitgrin (or even more MW projects I don't know about) devs have to add something to this article. Feel free to contact me in discord Aleksandr Sh#8134
