Make My Mind - Privacy Policy

Make My Mind ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Make My Mind, create mind maps, engage in AI-powered discussions, and use our services.

1. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Make My Mind is built on a privacy-first, on-device architecture. Topic titles, node layouts, message histories, mind map structures, customized persona prompts, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device's local storage. This allows you to work offline and resume discussions without maintaining a remote user account.

2. No User Account Required

The App does not require registration or personal profile creation. We do not collect, request, or store your name, email address, phone number, address book / contacts, or GPS location. We do not create user tracking profiles or sell any personal data to third parties or advertising networks.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Services & Data Transmission

When you initiate or continue an AI discussion or generate mind map nodes, the prompt text necessary to generate responses is transmitted securely via HTTPS/TLS to Google Gemini AI service. This processing is strictly required to deliver AI persona responses and brainstorm assistance. We advise users not to include sensitive personal details (such as passwords, credit card numbers, or confidential personal records) in AI prompts.

4. Images and Attachments

If you choose to attach an image or diagram to a discussion or node, the App accesses only the specific file you select via the system photo picker. Attached images are stored locally with your topic data.

5. Subscriptions and Payments (Google Play Billing)

All subscription transactions (Make My Mind Pro) are handled exclusively and securely by Google Play In-App Billing. Make My Mind does not process, receive, or store your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or payment credentials. All billing and refunds are governed by Google Play's Terms of Service.

6. Notifications

If enabled, the App uses local device notifications to alert you when background tasks or persona responses are complete. These notifications originate locally on your device and do not transmit personal data to external push servers.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can delete any topic, node, or conversation at any time within the App. You can also completely remove all stored data by clearing app storage in Android Settings or uninstalling the App. Since we do not maintain a remote database of user profiles, your local deletion is immediate, permanent, and final.

8. Children's Privacy

Make My Mind does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us to request data removal.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements or legal requirements. Updates will be published at this URL with an updated effective date.
