Major League Soccer, commonly known as the MLS, is the professional American professional soccer league. It is one of the most-watched sports in North America and Canada. A unique feature of the sport is that it involves teams from every corner of the United States and Canada. Because of this, there are a huge number of potential advertisers who can promote their brands through advertising or sponsorship in major sports leagues such as MLS, NFL, NBA, and LPGA.

Sponsorships for MLS

Major League Soccer sponsors are a source of revenue for each of the 28 clubs in the league. Most of these teams earn their income, such as from ticket sales, merchandise, and advertising on the walls of their stadiums. However, some teams receive money directly from the soccer league's sponsors. This money is used to provide benefits and assistance to the teams and the league itself, as well as to stimulate the economy of that sports league. Due to the tremendous support and popularity of soccer in the United States, Canada, the number of sponsors of major league soccer teams has grown significantly, and each of them plays an important role in maintaining the popularity and well-being of soccer in the United States. Although part of the 2020 season was not played due to the coronavirus pandemic and fans did not know what to do while the MSL Championship was Suspended, the league has quite a few sponsors.

The world's top soccer stars (David Villa, Wayne Rooney, etc.) come to MLS to finish their professional careers. In the USA, young soccer stars such as Sergiño Dest or Chris Richards, who play at the top clubs of old Europe, began to appear. In addition to the new players, new soccer clubs started to form in the USA, such as Miami Inter, co-founded by the great British footballer David Beckham. All this contributes to attracting new investors to MLS, which means that the list of Major League Soccer sponsors will only get bigger.
